Too Many To Love

Relieved.

Jayshaun POV

I suddenly feel numb and my body starts shaking. The machine I'm hooked up to starts beeping very fast, then I hear doctors and nurses run in. I start to think is it really my time? and I suddenly black out.

Imani POV

Jayshaun's aunt and I leave tomorrow to go visit him. I already told all my teachers I'll be out of school for a while due family issues. Sidney will be getting all my work for me, so that way when I come back I can get straight to it. Today is going to be a good day... I hope. I go hop in the shower for about 30 minutes and do my hygiene stuff. I'm not doing anything today so I just put on a white polo v-neck shirt, with some grey sweat pants, and colorful ankle socks.

I sit on my floor and start to pack a weeks work of clothes for the visit. My phone vibrated and I pick it up to see a text from Ryan. I haven't heard from him in a while.

Ryan: Hey Imani, haven't seen or heard from you in a minute. Whatcha been up to?

Mani: Hey Ryan and nothing chillen. Yourself?

Ryan: Same fr, you up for hanging today?

Mani: I wish you would've said something earlier I'm busy today.

Ryan: Its cool, maybe another time?

Mani: Maybe..

*Conversation Over*

That conversation was over pretty quick for a person who I haven't heard from in a while. Its crazy how things could change so quickly between people. I guess that's just how its gotta be.

Colen POV

I'm still in Chicago. I've been here for a while now because Jay is still in the hospital and I ain't finna leave lil bro when he in a time of need. Imani should be down here tomorrow and I'm really thinking about telling Jaida to come down here with her but I don't wanna leave my momma by herself. I might as well ask them to all just come down here... and that's just what I might do. I decide to call Jaida and tell her.

"Hey Baby." I said as Jaida answered the phone.

"Hey I miss you Colen!" she said sounding drained and depressed.

"I miss you too baby, you wanna come see me?" I asked her.

"Yes I really do." she said with excitement.

"Alright tell Mani, but first I gotta tell you where I'm at at and why." 

" I already know Mani told me, I don't know why you didn't tell me yourself." she continued, "You have a clear purpose, so I would've understood."

"I know baby, I just didn't know how to come out and tell you." I said.

"Its okay, but you forgetting about your momma, I don't wanna leave her by herself because Imani going to Chicago with Jay's aunt and I'm just gonna go with them."

"I know ask her can she take a vacation leave from her job so all y'all can just come."

"Alright baby."

"Aite I love you Jaida."

"I love you too Colen." We hung up. I hope everything goes as planned cause I wanna be with everybody when Jay wakes up. I know Jay would wanna wake up to everybody he loves surrounding him and not just two or three people. A few minutes later I get a call from the hospital.

"Brother of Jayshaun?" They asked as I answered the phone.

"Yes this is he.. wassup?" I asked.

"Jayshaun had a seizure lastnight and he's now in critical condition."

"Okay I'll be down there right away." I said as I hung up the phone.

I grabbed my keys and rushed to my car. I called Quan and didn't get no type of answer. Where tf could this nigga be? On my way to the hospital I called Imani and told her what happened.

"Alright Colen could you please stay there with him for me. We will be there tommorrow morning." Imani said.

"Of course Mani, did Jaida tell you I want her and momma to come with y'all too?" I asked her.

"Yeah they at the house packing, momma called her boss and she took a vacation. We all spending the night a Jay's aunt house so we can just wake up and head straight for the airport."

"Aite thats good, so everybody will be down here. I love you mini-me" I replied

She chuckled, "I love you too bigger-me."

Now that I know everybody will be here tomorrow thats half the weight lifted off my shoulders. Now the other half of weight will be lifted off when Jayshaun wakes up and I know he's okay. Then everything will be down for the best.

Kinda boring? Yeah I know. I haven't updated in a while so that was a quick one. Im now working on a sequel to this book. So that means this book will soon be over. I hope you guys are still enjoying.
