A/N- Yeah so guys. I might have to put this story on hold because I don't think I'm getting many reads or enthusiasm from the readers. Maybe...maybe not. But I have another really big story and might be hard once I get back to school.

If I can see if people really are enjoying it. I will certainly go on!

Leo

It had been a few days Leo’s kiss with Jackie and to be honest, they had been the best days in Leo’s life, besides being with his mom. Jackie had spent a while harnessing her battle skills (and it turns out she’s quite a sword master like Percy, who knew?) with Leo and learning about her water abilities with Percy.

But the best parts were learning about Greek ‘Mythology’ together and when Jackie took Leo for a ride with the Pegasi during which she specifically instructed him to ‘Not set the Pegasi on fire! Blackjack would be really angry.’ And apparently considering Blackjack was a horse, he had some serious equine trash talk according to Jackie.

‘He sometimes says words that I won’t say out loud.’ She had remarked.

So after a long and ‘eventful’ day, Leo couldn’t even keep his eyes open. And had instantly started to dream.

Okay, Leo had met his dad in his dreams a few times before, all of them being the most awkward moments ever. But going to sleep after kissing his first girlfriend and then having his dad butt into his dreams was even more embarrassing.

Leo had been dreaming of the most awesome summer ever, with Jackie and his friends, having a girlfriend, (finally), no quests and creating automatons.  It had been awesome. But he had felt the presence of another person…or god in his dream the whole time.

Turns out it was his big ol’ daddy-o.  Leo’s dream changed setting and he found himself in Hephaestus’ forge. His dad stood in front of him, in his blue coveralls, fiddling with pieces of scrap metal until he got Leo’s attention. He was still like Leo had remembered; tall, imposing, covered in grease and sweat, with muscles that could punch Bruce Lee so hard, that his one inch punch would look like a jab from a kindergartener.

“Holy Hades…Dad?”

Hephaestus glanced up at Leo, his beard was on fire, but it quickly burnt out.  Leo’s dad wasn’t the most attractive man, but he did care…most of the time, about his family.

“Leo…” Hephaestus said awkwardly, “I’m glad to see you’re well.”

Leo studied the god carefully, he replied carefully “You too?”

Hephaestus chuckled to himself before looking at Leo, “So you got my sign?”

Leo was puzzled, a sign? His father wasn’t really one for signs, Leo had been working before Jackie came in, then Leo had mentioned…

“Mom’s radio? That was your sign?” Leo asked.

Hephaestus smiled, but this time it was affectionate, as if he was remembering Leo’s mom.

“Your mother gave it to me. It was special and I knew it would get your attention. I decided to give it a little tweak.”

Leo smiled thinking of his mom, the past few days had reminded Leo of losing her and he knew how Jackie was feeling at the time, though he couldn’t imagine watching his mom die like Jackie had to. But why was his dad, Hephaestus, in his dreams again?

“Well you sure got my attention…by butting into my awesome dream!”

Hephaestus chuckled again, but it was an uncomfortable laugh.
