Luca's POV
When Courtney finally falls asleep, I lock the bedroom door and go downstairs. Most of the gang had left or had gone back to their rooms.
I find boss sitting on the couch starting at the off television. Is he thinking? Dead?
"Boss?" I ask and he turns around. At least he's not dead.
"I've been thinking about Courtney," we both say at the same time.
"You go first," he mumbles. Boss hates mumbling! Is he alright? What happened?
"We need to get Courtney out over here and the police off her case. With your permission I want to fake her death."
"Nice idea but how? How will she agree to it? She's been pretty darn clear she doesn't care if she dies. There's nothing really to threaten her with."
"Threatening her siblings. One of her younger sister is still alive. She's really protective of her."
"Yeah but how will 'kill her?'"
"I don't know. We could pretend she commits suicide. Have her jump off a bridge?"
"But what if she really does die? We both know she will commit suicide. We need her alive."
"Threaten her siblings. Tell her if she does drown, we will kill her remanding siblings."
"It's got merit. It could work. Because I was thinking the same thing. We need to get Courtney to Italy and the police off her case."
"I've got it. You know the shop we own near the bridge? It's the jewellery shop but we sell drugs from there." Boss slowly nods his head. "We get Courtney to jump off that bridge. We'll have our security cameras capture her jumping. Have we still got her dress from when she first came?" Boss nods his head again. "The street is usually deserted around two, so we get her to jump off the bridge around then. Before she jumps, have her place the suicide note and take her dress off. The police would still keep an eye out for her because there won't be a body but it would close her kidnapping case."
"It could work. We just need Courtney to agree."
"I'm sure it she'll be fine with it," I reply. And if she's not, she will be by the time I'm finished with her.
"Alright, I'm going to my office." Boss says and leaves.
I've got to get Courtney to submit. Place fear into her. Why does she keep running? We're risking our gang to save her ass! Why are we even doing it? Why are we doing it? That is a great question, why are we doing this? Why are we risking our mafia to save this random girl's ass? That I don't know the answer to.
I slowly get back up and walk upstairs. I unlock the door and walk in to an empty room. Where the hell is Courtney? I locked the frigging door? How could she get out?
"Capo! Capo!" I yell. How the hell could she have gotten out? The windows were locked and they aren't smashed. (Translation: Boss! Boss!)
"What?" I hear Spencer's voice. "Boss is busy."
"Courtney." I reply.
"She could be hiding. There isn't any way out of this room though. You did lock the doors?"
Doors? Shit I didn't lock the bathroom door. She probably went through the bathroom to Spencer's.
"I didn't lock the bathroom door."
"Merda! Merda! Merda! She's probably done another runner." Spencer mutters. (Translation: Shit! Shit! Shit!)
I run out the door and down the stairs. None of the alarms have gone off though. She must still be in the house still. But where? Most of the upstairs bedrooms are locked or occupied.
