Chapter 11:

Kol's POV

I woke up in Aqua's bed and looked around.

Did I have?..

I stopped there, and remembered she is in the hospital, recovering from what Axel did to her. Yawning, I got up and ran over to the hospital. Sitting down in one of the chairs, I watched Aqua. 

"You know, you are acting like a stalker right now." She turned her head to look at me and smirked.

"Oh. I'm sorry that I'm trying to be here for you every minute so Axel doesn't come back and kill you." I smirked back at her.

"Fine." Her eyes sparkled, and she turned her head, looking up at the ceiling. I looked up at the clock above the door. I turned and looked back at her.

"Why are you up so early anyway? It is 6:00." She looked at me and smirked. I could tell there was going to a smart-ass remark thrown at me. 

"Hmm. I wonder. Maybe it is because I'm in pain... Or..." "Oh.. Wait... Why are YOU up at 6:00?" She smirked even more. 

"Hmmm, I wonder?" I smirked right back at her. "Maybe, it's because I love hospitals. You know, because I'm a vampire. Or... It's because I still like you."

"Please don't get all mushy with me." She laughed.

"Humph" I crossed my arms, and hear someone coming down the hallway. A blonde hair, blue eyed Savannah. 

"Aqua?" Savannah walked into the room with her walker. She looked at me, and then at my hair.

"Nice change?" She half smiled at me.

"It isn't a change. I'm Kol Mikaelson, the original vampire. This is my natural hair color, not blonde. But, thanks." I half smiled back at her, and looked at Aqua. She looked like she was in shock.

"Savannah?" Savannah walked over to Aqua as fast as she could, and bent down to hug Aqua.

"I thought you were going to die!" I saw tears coming to the surface of Aqua's eyes. I smiled and said.

"I might have fed her my blood..." Aqua looked at me and held her arms out. I walked up to her, bent down and gave her a hug.

"Do you want to see Maya in person at some point?" I stood back up and she nodded her head rapidly.

"Wow, you really want to see Maya." I laughed.

"She is my best friend, yes I know I only know her from the computer, but she is so nice and we have so much fun when we talk. I also want to meet everyone in Mystic Falls. Plus, I want to meet her boyfriend, A.K.A. your brother." She smiled lightly up at me.

"Hey, maybe I could come to. Maybe I will fall deeply in love with one of your brother's like Aqua is in love with you." Savannah sounded so cheery. I looked at Aqua, and she was giving Savannah the "evil eye". 

"Oh? So you love me? Huh... I thought you hated me. You said that in you texts..." She smiled at me.

"It is a love/hate relationship right now.."

"I will take whatever I can get." I bent down and lightly kissed her, not wanting to put pressure on her head. I pulled back up, and smiled.

"I told you. No mushy stuff" She laughed. 

"I'm going to go get a coffee.. You guys want anything?" I put my hands in my pockets, looking for my wallet. I pulled it out.

$40. Should be enough to buy coffee.

"Can I have tea?" Savannah asked as she pulled up a chair to sit next to Aqua.

"Iced Coffee please." Aqua smiled at me.

"Ok. Coming right up" I walked out of the door and walked to a café shop.

Aqua's POV

"Thanks for coming to see me Savannah.. You didn't have to though. I do-"

Savannah held my hand.

"I had to come right away when your mom told me. You came right away when you heard I was in the hospital, so I came to see you, only Kol was in here, watching you sleep. He is a creep." She laughed.

"I know. But, he is, or will be, my creep." We both laughed and then saw Kol come in.

"One tea, one iced coffee, and one regular coffee. Oh, and I hope I will be your creep sometime." He smiled, gave Savannah her tea, and gave me my iced coffee.

"Thanks" We both said at the same time and laughed. I took a sip of my coffee, and saw someone walking in. It was Axel. He threw a wooden steak at Kol's heart, and headed towards me. Kol was behind Axel in a flash, with the wooden steak against the front of Axel's neck.

"You won't hurt the girl." Axel turned around and took the steak and threw it back at Kol. He approached me quickly with a knife in his hand.
