Chapter 41

My eyes fluttered open, as I yawned lightly. I looked around to see I was laying on someone's chest. I looked up at the sleeping face.

"Good morning" I said, my eyes closed.

"Good morning, love" I recognized this voice.

"Kol?!" I hissed.

"Yes love?" I opened my eyes, and looked at the smug look on his face.

"Where's Kai?!" I growled, and got up.

"Where he belongs, darling" He said, his smug grin expanding.

"Where does he belong" I hissed, jumping out of bed, and fixed my pajama shorts.

"Dead"

"WHAT!? YOU KILLED KAI!?" I screamed. I felt my face getting warm, as my hands molded into fists. Damon and Stefan rushed up.

"What?" Damon said, his eyes bolging out of his head.

"Kai is dead?" Stefan asked, his white tank top on. Tears started exploding out of my eyes, like my eyes were volcanos. My hand moved up.

"Modas" I growled, as Kol's chest began ripping apart.

"Aurora.." Damon said to me, slowly approaching.

"He KILLED Kai!!" I screamed at Damon, making his and Stefan's house shake.

"I'll text Maya, but Aurora.. please calm down..." Stefan pleaded me, and my hand dropped to my side. The hole where Kol's heart is healed. He tried to get up, but I stepped out of "my" room, and started chanting in Latin. I closed my eyes, and heard foot steps about to enter the room.

"Don't, Damon or Stefan. If you go in there you will be trapped" I said flatly, and heard the foot steps stop.

"Smart" I said lightly, finishing the spell. I opened my eyes, to see Kol pounding against the opening of the room.

"LET ME OUT!" He said, angrily.

"No" I said simply, turning around and walking downstairs. Stefan handed me a cup of tea, in the "famous" Frozen cup.

"Thanks Stef.." I said, lightly, taking a sip. The door burst open, and I turned around to see Klaus and Maya.

"I'm so sorry Aurora.." They both said at the same time, and made me giggle a little. Maya brought me in for a hug, and I gladly accepted the hug request.

"I'm here for you.." She whispered in my ear. We let go, and she walked back, as Klaus stepped forward.

"Aurora" He said in his British accent.

"Hi K.." I replied to him, as we hugged lightly, but let go quickly.

"Where's Kol?" He asked, with some anger in his eyes.

"Upstairs" He started to walk upstairs.

"Be carful, I put a boundary spell" He looked at me; "I don't want to see you get trapped". He nodded, letting me know he understood, and used his hybrid skills, and ran up the stairs.

"You two are getting fond of each other" Maya walked back over to me, chugging my tea.

"Hey" I slapped her arm lightly, and she slapped my arm lightly back. "Yeah, he can be very sweet when he wants to be" I smiled at her.

"Yeah.." She looked away. "Stef, can you get two more cups?" She asked.

"What's the magic word?" He leaned over the island, and smirked.

"Give me the tea or I will rip your heart out?" She smirked at him.

"Feisty" He chuckled, and put the water back up. "But the magic word was please, for the record"
