Chapter 26:

I sped up, glaring at the road.

Marcel, you better watch out.

I stepped on the breaks hard. Jumping out of my car, I ran to see who was lying in the road.

"Kai?" I looked at him, kneeling down.

"Aurora" He turned his head, and looked at me.

"How do you know my real name...?" I stared blankly at him.

"Word travels fast. Your mother always liked me.." He stood up.

"Sorry about Kol..." I stood back up, and we were inches away from each other's faces. I coughed lightly.

"Thanks" I moved away, and he rubbed his neck.

"How did you know"

"I'm the leader of the Jemen Eye Covent, I know things" Kai chuckled.

"Cool"

"Plus I'm also a vampire.." Kai eyed me.

"Please say you aren't going to try and kill me" I laughed.

"Nah, I like you to much" Kai said, smiling at me. Not the same 'evil' smirk Kol would get when he wanted to kiss me. Kai just simply smiled at me.

"Well then. That moved quickly. I'm heading to New Orleans to kick some Marcel ass, if you would like to come. Only about a half an hour away" I smiled back at Kai.

"That sounds very pleasurable, but I think I will pass" Kai laughed.

"Ok. See you soon" I laughed back, heading back to my car. Hopping back in, and buckling my seat belt, I looked at where Kai was. I sighed lightly.

Why did I fall in love with him..

***A Few Minutes Away***

My phone buzzed, and I carefully pulled over onto the side of the road. Checking it, I saw it was Maya.

Maya: How's that witchy stuff going?

Aurora: I just talked with my mom about it, according from her I'm from the Bennett witch line ;-;

Maya: Bennett? Oh I know a Bennett. Bonnie Bennett actually.... How's you and kol?

Aurora: kicked him out

I slightly laughed to myself.

Maya: Oh my. Why don't you come to New Orleans? I miss you...

Aurora: Already was on my way. Driving now.

Maya: Be safe, how far are you?

Aurora: 5 minutes.

Maya: Great, meet you in the quarter.

I headed back on my way, and pulled into park outside of the huge building. Unbuckling my seatbelt, I opened the door and hopped out.

Witchy powers, don't fail me now..

I closed the door behind me, looking at the huge building standing in front of me. A brunette girl came outside, smiling at me.

"Good thing Klaus and I were already here. Marcel is here and he doesn't really like witches" She half smiled.

You're telling me? He killed my dad.

"Oh, wonderful" I sighed, and walked over to her. I hugged her lightly.

"You smell nice" Maya said to me, laughing. 

"That's a normal thing to say" I muttered, laughing a tiny bit under my breath.
