Chapter 32:

I took another sip of my beer. turning my head, I saw Kol taking a sip of his whisky. 

"Douche bag" I muttered.

"Was that directed at me or K" I looked back at Kai.

"You do know that K applies to you, right?" I chuckled at him.

"Oh, right" He chuckled, too.

Alaric came in, and sat down. He put up two fingers to his head, and then brought them back down.

"Aye, buddy" I did it back.

"One bourbon please" Alaric said to Matt. Kai and I heard the door open. Damon and Maya walked in. Maya sat on the right side of Alaric, and Damon sat on Alaric's left.

"Hey buddy" Maya said to Alaric.

"I don't think it is okay to be having drinks with one of my former students." Alaric said back.

I took another sip of my beer. Kai started staring at Maya. I chuckled a bit at him. I threw my empty beer can at Matt. We both chuckled and he gave me another.

 "Just be happy I'm buying." Maya chuckled a bit, and shrugged. 

Maya turned and saw Kai staring at her. "What are you looking at?" Maya growled at him. She moved her eyes up to look at me. "Hey..." She said.

"Hey." I replied softly, opening my second can of beer and taking a sip. 

"Bad day?" She asked. I brought the beer can back to the bar table. I swallowed, fighting tears.

"Yeah, you?" I said. 

"Yeah, lets just say Klaus is a douche bag who can die." Maya sighed, lightly.

Well, I guess the Mikaelson boys have a thing at being dishrags... I thought.

"Don't you mean a dishrag?" I chuckled at her, taking another sip of my beer.

"Oh, yeah." Maya laughed for a moment, them moved her eyes to Dishrag #3. "Why is Kol here?" She asked.

"Good question." I turned to look at him, and rolled my eyes at Kol being here.

He got up and walked over to us.

"Douche number 3 coming this way." Maya muttered. I chuckled a bit.

Dishrag, Maya, dishrag

"Hey Aurora." Kol said softly. I turned my smile upside down, and knitted my eyebrows together, annoyed.

"What did I already tell you, Kol? Go the hell away and don't ever speak to me again." I said angrily, unknitting my eyebrows and turning to take another sip of my beer.

"Who the hell is this?" Kol asked, a bit of anger in his voice. I turned my head, and saw he was nodding towards Kai.

"None of your business." I said to him, annoyed. 

"Well none of your business, nice to meet you." Kol said to Kai. He half smiled, and stuck his hand out.

And now you are being nice around everyone else. Shocking.   I thought.

"Kai Parker actually." Kai shook Kol's hand. After a minute Kai was flung against the wall, groaning. Damon got up, ran over to him, and helped him up.

Well, never mind.

I put down my beer, annoyed.

Why can't a girl just have a simple drink without something happening.. 

"You don't look good," Damon smiled that smile at Kai.

"Thanks, Damon." Kai muttered, and flung Kol against a brick wall, almost breaking it.

Damn

"HEY HEY HEY TAKE THAT OUTSIDE!" Matt yelled at them.

Maya looked at Alaric and Matt, then grabbed my hand. She ran outside with me.

"Well shit, they're fighting over you." Maya smirked at me.

"Not surprising, I am just that fabulous." I felt the wind rush through my hair and make it whip at just the right moment.

 "Great job." Maya rolled her eyes, and laughed at me. Damon came running outside.

"Get in the car." Damon ordered us. He grabbed Maya's hand, and she held onto mine. She hopped in the back seat, and I went into the passenger.

Finally

"Whats going on in there?" Maya asked, slightly annoyed.

"Hell." Damon turned his head and looked at Maya.

Well I'll be damned. I think Damon likes Maya too..

"Wonderful, all over me." I looked out the window, watching the Grill.
