Chapter 40

While we were on the road, my phone kept going off like crazy. I tried to ignore it, but it didn't work. I picked up the phone quickly.

"What is it Damon?" I hissed harshly under my breath into the phone. 

"Klaus is in the Gilbert house. Bonnie put him there until a few days later. Wait are you with Maya? She can't know." Damon said into the phone.

"Why can't she know?" I furrowed my eyebrows, and looked over at Maya. She held up a finger to her mouth, telling me not to say that she was here; with me.

"She'll go after Klaus and she can easily bring him back out." Damon muttered through the phone, sounding aggravated.

"Alright, well I won't tell her if I run into her. See you soon." I smirked, and hung up, putting my phone back in my pocket. The car picked up speed as we headed to the Gilbert house.

"You can come or stay, but I'm getting Klaus." Maya muttered as she got out of the car, closed the door quietly, and ran to the house. I got out of the car, as someone pinned me to it, making me shut it loudly.

"Relax, Darling" Kol smiled from above me, "Your heartbeat is very fast" He chuckled, letting me go.

"What the hell do you want Kol, I told you I never wanted to see you or talk to you ever again" I hissed, putting my blonde hair up in a high pony tail.

"I'm just trying to help" He reached out his hand, and rubbed my face. I took his hand and slapped it off of my face.

"Feisty" He mumbled.

"Always" I smirked, "So, what do you want" I crossed my arms across my chest. His gaze dropped to where my arms were crossed, but a little above that.

"Perv" I lifted my hand, and made him go in the air.

"You once liked me staring there" He smirked even more. I dropped him on his ass.

"Dishrag" I mumbled.

"They are going to need your help in there, so I suggest you go" He got up, and ran to me, pushing me off my feet and onto my ass. I got up and rubbed my right butt cheek as Kol chuckled at me.

"Fuck off" I hissed, and started walking to the house, as Kol wolf-whistled. I turned around, and literally hissed at him. He did a "cat pawing" motion. I groaned, and started running in.

"You know you could have came through the front door." I said to Maya.

"I don't care." Maya growled lightly at me, as she stared at Klaus.

"Aurora, can you sense what type of spell this is or something?" Maya asked me, as she turned to look at me.

"Klaus, don't kill me if I get stuck in there." I grumbled, as I walked stepped past where Klaus was, and back out.

"You try." I demanded Maya, thinking for a moment.  She did the same, and walked out as easily as I did.

"Must just be a boundary spell for Hybrids." I pressed my lips together, thinking. "He is bonded by something, just don't know what." I thought more.

"The full moon. Its two days from now." Klaus looked ahead, annoyed.

"Can you get him out, Please?" Maya begged me, as my heart sank.

"I can try..." I closed my eyes and started chanting a spell.

"That's the best I can do, if I did anything." I opened my eyes, and smiled softly at Maya and Klaus. Maya held her hand out to Klaus, and he grabbed it. I sighed in relief. Klaus and Maya hugged, but then he was gone.

"Not even a 'thank you'" I sighed, and muttered. "Typical Klaus" I muttered again.

"Where is that man going now?" Maya turned to look at me, and furrowed her eyebrows.

 "Probably to kill whoever got him here." I shrugged, "While we're here... lets steal food." I smirked.

"You know me too well." Maya smirked too, grabbing ice cream and a spoon. 

"I'm surprised they haven't lose the house or electricity or whatever." Maya mumbled through mouthfuls of ice cream. "Why did you come in?" Maya asked me.

"Someone just told me to come in here." I said plainly back, as I searched for food for myself.

"Who?"

"Umm..." I looked down at my feet like they were the most interesting things in the world,"Kol..."

"KOL WAS HERE?" Maya said, jumping up, almost hitting the ceiling. "Where is the dishrag?"

"I don't know" I replied, because I didn't. I felt him in the grass.

"Well, tootles." Maya ran out, going to find Kol.

"Well then" I followed her. I walked in on Kol's hand against her throat, and he had her pinned against the house.

"I will hurt you." Kol growled. I flung him in the air as Damon came to the rescue, and grabbed Maya. He nodded at me, and ran off.

"WHAT THE HELL DID I TELL YOU KOL" I screamed at him. I looked him in the eye, and I could see actual fear.

"You better be fucking scared, Kol" I hissed at him. I lifted my hand, but someone knocked me over.

"I'll take care of him" Kai said from above me.

"No! You don't know his tricks!!" 

"Well, that is why your here" He chuckled.

"I won't loose you" I said softly to him, but shifting my eyes to where Kol was. I saw him getting up, and I lifted my hand. I made his blood boil, and it made him scream in pain. Getting up, I started walking towards him.

"Let me help" Kai whined.

"This isn't your fight" I hissed back, not trying to hurt his feelings, but still had rage in my voice from Kol. "Go back to the Salvatore house, and make sure Maya is ok" I demanded.

"Okay" I turned to see him already gone. I walked straight up to Kol.

"If you mess with me, it is one thing" I grabbed him by the collar of his shirt, using all my might. I still kept my hand up, keeping him frozen. "But" I chuckled. "If you mess with my friends" I growled lowly. "You're gonna pay" I flung him against a tree, making him black out. I rubbed my hands together, shaking the dirt off. I made a gun with my hand, brought it up to my mouth, and blew on it, proudly. I started walking back to the Salvatore house, thinking up more ways to get back at Kol.
