Chapter 22:

                                                      ^ Her dress but NOT her hair^

I put on my dark blue dress, and twirled in the mirror. 

"I can't believe Maya is getting married to Klaus... They make the perfect couple, don't you think?" I turned, and smiled at Kol, who was standing in the doorway.

"They make a good couple..." He ran over to me, and was by my side in a second. He held my hand. I shot him a look.

"This is their day, Kol. Our day might come one day, but not today. It is their time to shine." I smiled up at him.

"Ok.. I can get that"

"You should be able to." 

Boots crawled over to me, with a flower crown on her head. Kol and I both laughed at her. I picked her up and rocked her.

"You didn't get an invitation to Maya and Klaus' wedding" I giggled at her, and she lightly smiled, I think. I took the crown off her head, and put her back down on the bed. 

"Sleep tight"

I went into the bathroom, and fishtail braided my hair. I lightly stuck a blue flower in my hair. Kol came up behind me. 

"You look stunning" He interlocked his fingers with my fingers.

"Thanks. You look pretty snazzy yourself.. Maybe like an old man.. Because you are one.." I laughed at him.

"Well, I guess you are attracted to older men" He smirked at me in the mirror. I unlocked our fingers, and turned around.

"Only this once." I bopped his nose.

"Hey! You are ruining the foundation" He said in a squeaky voice, probably trying to imitate what I would say.

"You are a little bitch, you know that"

"Don't be mean on Maya and Klaus' wedding day!" He said in a squeaky voice. I slapped his butt.

"Leave." 

I pushed him out.

"You know, you are pretty strong for 'just a human'"

"Ok. BYEEE HAVE A NICE DAY" I pushed him out. I continued pushing him to the 'front' door.

"This is my house!" He said through the closed door.

"Actually, it is technically Klaus' and soon to be Maya's too. Maya is my best friend."

"But Klaus is my brother."

"See you at the wedding Kol." I laughed, and ran to the bathroom. I fixed my makeup.

*** Hours later***

 Running, I went to the door.

"Are you finally ready?" Kol said, sassing me.

"Yup!!" We rushed over to the wedding place.

Maya walked down the isle. I watched, as tears almost erupted from my eyes.

**A few minutes later**

"Klaus, you may give your vows to Maya" The priest said.

"Maya Jane Robertson... I never imagined loving you this much, falling for you this much. I never knew a love like this existed in the world, you give me passion that consumes me, a lust that consumes me. You have become my best friend, my soul mate, and my entire world.  I couldn't imagine standing here with anyone else saying I do. You have been by my side through thick and thin - and I hope I have done the same for you. You are always there for me when I need a good laugh, always there when I need someone to talk to you." Klaus looked down, took a breath, and looked back at Maya passionately. 

"Maya, you have dealt with me on my worst of days, and you just so happen to make everything brighter and happier. Your love consumes people, and your beauty is overbearing. I love you, now, forever and always."

Maya began to cry, and I smiled warmly, even though I  know she can't see me. Klaus lifted his hand, and from what It looked like, whipped the tear from her face. He smiled.

"Now Maya, your turn" The priest said.

"NiKlaus Mikaelson... A name I never imagined loving this much, a name I never imagined caring this much for. You have always been by my side, you have given me the love that I want and the type of love I have looked for my whole life. When I first met you I honestly wanted nothing to do with you" Maya laughed softly. 

"You have changed that in so many ways. I want to be with you every second, you make me feel protected and loved uncontrollably. You have made my life brighter, and made my life so much more adventurousness. I don't regret any day I spent with you,  I don't regret all the times you used to trip me on the sidewalk, or all the times that you have annoyed the absolute shit out of me because it has brought me to this moment. To a moment I will never forget - to a moment I will love forever and always.  I cant thank you enough for being in my life... I will love you forever and always for all eternity."

She whipped a tear from her face. 

"NiKlaus Mikaelson - Do you take Maya Jane Robertson as your lawful wife, through better or for worse, through sickness and health, for richer or poorer?" The priest said, turning his head to look at Klaus.

"I do"

"Maya Jane Robertson - Do you take NiKlaus Mikaelson as your lawful husband, through better or for worse, through sickness and health, for richer or poorer?" The priest looked at Maya, and I think I saw tear streaming down her face.

"I do"

"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." The priest said, smiling. Klaus leaned close to her face, and kissed her. After a few seconds, Klaus pulled away but left his forehead against her's. Maya pulled away, or Klaus pulled away. IDK. 😂

Klaus grabbed her hand. 

"I gladly pronounce you Mr. and Mrs. Mikaelson!" The priest said, gladly. They ran down the isle, and everyone clapped. Although, I think I clapped the most. I watched them, and the rose pedals almost seemed to dance around them, blowing tiny kisses of joy. Tears crawled down my face, as Kol hugged me. My best friend finally found the person she loved, Always and Forever, till' forever ends...
