Chapter 16

"What? Maya?" I looked at her in fear. "It's okay, It's okay." Maya said, trying to calm me down.

The door swung open, and a man that looked kinda like Kol and Elijah walked in. He had a cruel expression on his face. He looked about 5 '11, and he had light brown hair, with a crazed look in his eyes. I looked at the dark brown haired man, who looked about 6'1. 

"Mikael" He said, as he stood up quickly. 

"Kai" Mikael said.

"Wait, like Mikael.... The father of the Mikaelson children?" Maya said, and I understood right away. That was Mikael the vampire that hunts and eats other vampires. My eyes widened. Mikael lifted his head and turned it towards Maya. He glared at her, and I hoped he really only DOES drink the blood of other vampires.

"Yes, but not that hybrid werewolf you know of". He continued glaring at her.  She gulped, and I knew she was thinking he was probably not here to help. "Please tell me you're here to help me." She said, her voice shaky. Mikael laughed evilly, and it practically made my ears pop. 

Now I know why Klaus, Rebekah, Elijah, and Kol don't like him... He is so loud..

"No, girl." He eyed Kai, still laughing a bit. "Who is the other one?" He looked and pointed to me.  I froze in fear. 

"I thought she was Maya, Sorry." Kai said, with a hint a fear in his voice. 

 "HOW COULD YOU CONFUSE A BLONDE WOMAN AND A BRUNETTE WOMAN?!" He screamed, clenching his fists. 

  "Sorry, Sir." Kai said, inching a tiny bit away from Mikael. Mikael took a deep breath, and unclenched his fists. 

"It is alright, son. You are better than that hybrid that must be part of my family." He sighed angrily. I looked at Maya, and she looked overly pissed off at Mikael.

 Probably because he said 'you are better than that hybrid that must be part of my family'

She furrowed her eyebrows angrily. "Are you talking about Klaus?" Her jaw locked, and I could hear it crack a little bit.

Jes woman. Why must you take it out on your jaw, take it out on Mikael, he is the jerk, not your teeth..

"Is that what he calls himself? He is Niklaus and he is nothing but a boy that fears." Mikael said, somewhat chuckling annoyedly. Maya stood up angrily.

Oh gosh

"Don't you dare call Klaus that. He has shown more strength than you have. You made other people do your dirty deeds!" She screamed angrily, pointing her finger at him. She walked over to him, and shoved him in the chest angrily. Mikael grabbed her arms, and she screamed in pain. I watched, horrified. 

"Don't you dare touch me." He growled. I could faintly see the veins under his eyes popping out. "You are lucky I only drink from vampires, girl." He said, throwing Maya to the ground. He walked over to me, and became eye level with me. 

"You will forget everything that has happened here. You will wake up in an hour remembering you went into the woods because you heard something and got lost." Mikael said. My gaze drifted to Maya. I looked at her horrified.  Maya nodded at me and mouthed:

"He is trying to compel you, go with it or you will never leave."

I slightly nodded at her, trying to be carful so Mikael wouldn't see.  My gaze drifted back to Mikael, and I looked into his dark blue eyes.

 "I went into the woods and got lost." I said.  He patted my head.

"Good girl." He turned around, and started walking back to Maya. I growled under my breath as Kai picked me up bridal style. He walked out of the concrete room with me over his shoulder.
