Chapter 28

A tear ran down the side of my face, as I stared at Maya through the window.

"What about my baby?" Maya asked me sternly. I could see a hint of fear painted on her face.

"D-damon..." I stuttered.

Maya looked at Klaus, and he stared at her stomach. Klaus looked at her with rage and horror painted on his face.

 "What is it?" Maya asked him, concerned. 

"I don't hear a heartbeat, Love."

"No, No, You're kidding me." Maya growled.

"Love... we should get you to a hospital... for them to see it for themselves..." Klaus said lightly, trying to calm Maya down a bit. Klaus ran over to Maya in a second, and Maya was in his arms within a second.

"Aqua, are you coming?" Klaus looked at me, asking softly.

He really cares deeply about Maya... They are so nice together..

"I can't open the friggin door." I pulled on it weakly. Klaus held Maya with one hand, and I moved out of the way. He opened the door and threw it to one side. I climbed out stiffly. I felt my eyes turn a lighter green than normal, but didn't know if it was noticeable. I tried to move my hand to say thank you, but it didn't work.

"Are you okay?" Klaus asked me. I tried to say: 

"Yeah, just stiff from the crash, thanks" But my mouth wouldn't move.

"Stop acting like you care in front of Maya. We all know you don't care about anyone besides her and your family." I said to him.

Why am I acting like this...

I tried to speak again, but like last time nothing came out of my mouth.

"If Maya cares about you, then I have to as well. Now stop being bloody stubborn and lets go before I have to drag you by your toe nails." Klaus said to me, a bit annoyed at "my" tone.

"Even try putting your hands on me and I will kill you myself."

WHAT THE HELL! I WOULD NEVER DO THAT TO MAYA! I SAID THAT BEFORE BUT I WAS JOKING BECAUSE I WAS ANNOYED. I screamed, but nothing happened.

"AQUA JUST FUCKING ENOUGH. I'VE HAD IT WITH YOUR WITCHY SELF AND ACTING LIKE YOU CAN DO ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING. SURE YOUR "KIND" CREATED VAMPIRES BUT NOT WEREWOLVES. SO I SUGGEST EITHER YOU SHUT THE HELL UP AND COME ALONG OR YOU CAN STAY BACK HERE AND CALL FOR ONE OF YOUR LITTLE MAN WHORES." Maya screamed at "me". 

What the hell Maya. I didn't say that! You know me! I would NEVER say that!

My body stumbled back, and I didn't know why. I looked back at Maya, and tried lifting my hand to reach out to her. She dropped down from Klaus' arms. Maya looked really mad, and like she was about to turn.

"Sweetheart, calm down... Deep breaths." Klaus stroked her arm.

"I don't need your bullshit, Aqua. So either go, or smarten up your attitude before I allow myself to turn and I will kill you myself." Maya threatened.

Oh my gosh... I felt like I was about to cry, but I didn't.

"You're turning into Klaus more and more every day." I muttered.

NO SHE ISN'T

I tried to fight whatever was in me, but it was more powerful.

"I don't see an issue with that." Klaus stuck up for Maya.

"She is becoming ruthless, mean, and blood crazy. Just like you. She used to be able to control her anger and do you see this? Do you see how much she is changing?!" I yelled at them.

Klaus can be, but he really cares!!! 

I fought.

"Becoming a werewolf heightens your moods and how you are suppose to act. She is acting like herself, and I seem to be the only one who doesn't have an issue with it." Klaus yelled louder than me. He fell to the ground, and his face looked hurt, astonished, and confused.

"AQUA!" Maya yelled at me. I felt myself grinning. 

NO!

"Enough." I said, and threw Maya against a tree.

WHOEVER YOU ARE GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!

"Niklaus Mikaelson... a ruthless monster nobody seems to be able to put down. How about I use the same spell my step mother used on your father..." I felt myself smiling even more evilly. Maya was kept up against the tree, and I saw Stefan. 

YES! STEFAN! PLEASE GET THEM OUT OF HERE! I CAN'T CONTROL MYSELF!!!!

He looked a me a bit, almost like he knew what I was saying.

"Aqua, Don't! Please I love him!" Maya screamed "Kill me, not him! If I really am turning into him then I will become worse than him!" Maya said, a tear running down her face.

I WON'T! I WON'T LET THIS THING DO THAT!!!

"I'd rather make you suffer, the same way it felt when Kol left me." I muttered.

NO! IT WASN'T HER FAULT! IT WAS DAVINA'S! STOP! I screamed in my head.

Stefan grabbed Maya and Klaus' wrists and dragged them out to the woods.

"Thank god" I said, and realized I said it out loud. 

"Yes. That thing is gone" I looked in Maya's trashed car window, and saw my emerald eyes returned, and they weren't the pale green. 

"Why was I acting like that..." I thought for a minute.

"Klaus can be some of the things that 'I' said.." I paced. "He feed me his blood when I was hurt, and I healed quicker than normal" Something clicked in my brain.

"I was acting ruthless like him, and I have his blood in my system"

"I need to get his blood out of me" I sighed. I started running in the direction of Maya, Stefan, and Klaus.

"They are going to kill me.. But they have to know the truth" I continued running, and noticed they weren't there anymore.

"Damn it" I opened up my phone, and called Kai"

"Aurora"

"Hi Kai" I smiled.

"I need your help" I said to him.

"Anything for you" 

I blushed against the phone.

"I'm at the four-way intersection outside of Mystic Falls, can you pick me up"

"Yeah, see you in a bit"

"Thanks, Kai" I smiled against the phone, and hung up. I sat down in the grass, and thought for a minute.
