Chapter 37

Maya walked into the kitchen, where I sat drinking another cup of tea.

"I'm going to go get changed, then I'm going to go sign divorce papers.." She sighed lightly.

"Sorry you are going through this, May" I frowned at her.

"Yeah, well I'm sorry you have to watch me go through this" I got up, and walked over to her, hugging her lightly.

"You will get through this" I muttered into her ear.

"Thanks, Ro" She let go of the hug.

"Ro?" I chuckled lightly.

"Yes. Your new nickname" She smiled.

"Ok" I laughed.

At least that lightened her mood..

"See you when I get back" She smiled at me, and ran with her werewolf speed to the bathroom.

"Ok! See you later!" I raised my voice a bit, making sure she heard me. I leaned against the island, not knowing what to do. My phone buzzed in my pocket, and I saw who was calling.

Kai❤️: Hey

I smiled at the person who texted me.

Ro: Hi :)

Kai❤️: How are you?

Ro: I'm ok, you?

Kai❤️: I'm good. Look, I'm sorry if I intruded on your personal space today by kissing you..

Ro: Kai, don't be sorry X'D

I beamed down at my phone. Kol would never ask if it was ok, or say sorry after kissing me, he would just go. I liked the soft side to Kai.

Kai❤️: Ok. 

I heard May come back downstairs, and she gave me a silent wave, and walked to the front door. I went back to my phone.

Ro: Do you want to come over?

Kai❤️: Nahhh, after this morning, I think I should give us sometime..

Ro: oh.. Ok. 

I frowned down at my phone, and put it down on the table. Grabbing a book, Charlotte's Web, and started to my room. I passed the front door, and saw Stefan and Maya about to leave together. I knitted my eyebrows together, trying to get a better view. They were holding hands.

"Aww" I muttered, lightly. Damon came downstairs, and saw what I saw.

"I'm going to friggin kill that-" I cut him off by holding his chest so he couldn't go rip Stefan's heart out.

"Damon.." I growled.

"I will kill you, Aurora" He growled back.

"Not if I kill you first" I chuckled, and stared at him. He was against the wall groaning within a second.

"Ok, fine" He groaned, annoyed. "You have made your point"

"Thank you" I smiled at him, and continued to my room with my book.

                                                     After Some Annoying minutes

I groaned, and put my book on the nightstand, got up, and headed into the kitchen.

"Will I be able to kill Stefan when he gets home?" Damon whined at me like a lost puppy.

"Yeah...." He smiled. "No." I smirked at him, getting all the ingredients for a delicious sandwich.

"Go to your room" I said, smirking down at the sandwich.

"Yes, mother" Damon emphasized the word "mother". I chuckled at him, as he went upstairs. I heard the door open, and guessed it was Stefan and Maya back from the "meeting".

"Everything okay?" Stefan asked May.

"S-s-re" Is all I heard, so I guessed she whispered it, or muttered it. I held a knife in my hand, cutting the salami. They walked into the kitchen, and I looked at them with the knife in my hand still. 

"Hey. How'd it go?" I asked her, lightly.

May's eyes shifted from my eyes to the knife.

"Oh, sorry" I mumbled, and put the knife down.

 "Josh had to go help another client. Seemed important. We didn't get the papers signed though..." Maya sighed, annoyed. I stared at her, sorrow in my eyes. 

I fell bad for her.. I want to kill Klaus for this, but I know she probably still feels something for him.. somewhere...

She turned around, where I thought Stefan was just a second ago. 

Well, thats another benefit of being a vampire or werewolf..

I sighed to myself, and concentrated my focus on Maya. She turned back, and ran to the sink, turning on the water.

"Aurora, I have no idea what to do. Klaus made a point today... Elena could come back at any given moment and take Stefan or Damon from me." Maya said softly, looking at me with sorrow in her eyes.

"Maya..." I walked over to her, and brought her into a hug. I stared at the wall, feeling so bad for her.

                                     She thought it was Always and Forever...
