Chapter 29:

I stood in the cold, freezing. I saw a car pull up next to me. Kai hopped out and watched as I shook, coldly. He rolled his eyes at me, unzipped his jacket, raised his hand, and I was against his chest in a second. We both laughed.

"Thanks for coming" I looked up at him.

"Your welcome" He smiled down at me.

"I really need to start wearing 5 inch heels, because all the guys I like are so tall..." I said, laughing.

"Oh, so you like me?"

"Possibly" I smiled at him. "But I just lost someone. It wouldn't look good" I patted his chest. He rolled his eyes at me. He climbed back into the car, and unlocked the door. I looked at both sides of the road, and the opened the passenger side door.

"Finally. I'm in the passenger seat" I mumbled. 

Kai chuckled at me. I closed the passenger side door, are kai started up the car. We were on our way.

***After a Few minutes of Driving***

"So what do you think is happening with you?" Kai looked over at me quickly, then looked back on the road.

"Well, Maya, Klaus and I crashed, and I almost died... Klaus gave me his blood and I healed faster than normal. Klaus can be blood thirsty and ruthless, correct?"

"Correct" Kai stopped the car near the woods, and we got out of the car.

"His blood in my system, so I think it brought out my bad side"

"How do we stop it?" We started walking in the woods on the way to the Salvatore House.

"I have no idea" I said, as Kai pulled out his phone and started texting someone.

"I think we have to drain me of blood" I looked at him.

"That is dangerous, especially for a human" He looked at me with concern in his eyes.

"Yeah, well I will take that over killing my best friend and her spouse" I looked at him in the eyes. Kai broke the tension by kneeling down, so he could be eye level with me. 

"Hey, I was 5' 3 before, now I'm 5' 6" I whined. We both laughed.

"Well, if you want to be as tall as me, you have to become a weed" We both laughed as we continued on.

**After some minutes of walking and Kai low key  flirting with Aurora X'D**

Twigs snapped under us, and I could see Stefan, Maya, and Klaus.

"You will be find" Kai whispered, and rubbed my arm lightly. I sighed.

"Thanks"

We got closer to them, and I started feeling like I was going to turn into the monster again.

"Kai, I only turn into the monster when I'm around Klaus" I realized.

"Ok, you will be back to normal soon, I promise" We got even closer, and I felt the think clawing it's way to the surface.

"I see that your lips are moving!" Kai called to them.

"Wow, you notice things. That's a first" Maya muttered, but we were close enough that I could hear. 

"We need to get your husbands blood out of her system in order for her to go back to normal" Kai ordered them.

I felt my eyes start to change, but I fought. They were back to normal. I exhaled, relieved.

"Excuse me? What makes you the boss around here?" Maya growled at Kai.

"Since I am the most powerful witch from the most powerful coven. So I know what to do" Kai said flatly to Maya.

"Get her to the cellar" Maya demanded, as she groaned, annoyed. Stefan grabbed my forearm, and dragged me down to the cellar.

"You have a nice house" I chuckled slowly.

"Thanks" Stefan said.

"Look, I'm sorry" I stated.

"I know this is you, but the other you almost hurt Maya, and I can't live with that" He threw me in the cellar.

Does Stefan like LIKE Maya..?

I thought to myself.
