Two years ago: Kat's POV

"Jace can you please work this out?", I beg him.

He sneers at me. "Hell no. I told you I'm done".

I was crying now. "Jace, please! If you are really his friend you won't do this", I sob as I can see in his eyes that he couldn't care less.

He sighed frustratingly, "Kat I get that you care about your brother but you can't make me be friends with someone I don't want to be friends with. He admitted his nonstop love for me which is just gross and I can't even be friends with him now because it's just hella awkward. Plus, I don't want rumors to go around that I'm gay too".

I gape at him. How dare he f*cking say that! I was about to punch him when I hear Jace cry out, "Aw come on man! You knew it was coming. Didn't you see all those girls I hang out with?". I turn around to see my brother standing close enough to have heard everything.

I tried to comfort him.

I tried everything to make him feel better.

Tried showing him new people to talk to.

Tried to make him love who he is.

Yet he still did it.

That stupid golden gate bridge ain't so golden.
