Chapter 4: "I'm a lesbian kiss" - If I Believe You, The 1975
Kiera's POV:
I know it's bad but I'm glad I will never see my mom or my sister again. My foster family is more than I ever wanted.
They love me. They feed me. Most of all, I have a younger brother who is so cute!
I like to feed him, make fun of him when he tries to walk but ends up falling... and on top of that, the house is huge!
Three story house and I have a full bedroom for myself.
My parents are not that all strict. They let Kat come visit me sometimes. I get to go out on weekdays and they could care less if I got a C+ in math...
But they still want me to do well in school. As long as I try my best they don't punish me.
The thing that troubles me most, however, is that my parents are Christians.
How are they ever going to accept me for me?

"Hey, Kiera!", I turn my head to see Kat running towards me with a big smile.
I smile back at how happy she looks and reply, "Hey! Why are you so happy?".
She gives me a look and says, "What? Can't I be happy without a reason?".
I laugh, "Um no!".
She rolls her eyes and we walk towards the cafeteria.
"Ah!", Kat gasps.
I spun around to see her standing there with a weird excited look on her face. I look at her, perplex as she jumps up and down.
"Dude! We should totally go out for lunch! Remember today is extended lunch? We can walk to Mcdonald's it's only like a fifteen-minute walk", she says excitedly.
I raise my eyebrows. "Are you sure we will make it back in time?", I ask her skeptically.
She nods her head fast and cries, "Yes! Even if we are like five minutes late our English teacher doesn't even care".
That was true... plus we never go out of campus.
"Ok! Sure that sounds fun... as long as you pay for your own food", I tell her jokingly.
She slaps my arm playfully and says, "Hey! You only paid for my lunch that one time. Are you always going to use that against me?".
I smile evilly and reply, "Yes".
When we arrived at McDonald's Kat ordered a hazelnut iced coffee and large fries.
That's it.
I give her a look and she mocks my face. "What!", she cries and I laugh.
Walked all this way to get just that?
I ordered a twenty piece nugget, large coke, with a side of large fries.
She gives me a look and I mock her, "What!", and we both laugh.
When we got back to school, we still had plenty of time so we sat down in our usual place, secluded from everyone so we can talk about anything without anyone eavesdropping.
I was hungrily eating my nuggets when I look up to see Kat's face slowly moving towards mine. Her eyes were bright and my heart skipped a beat.
No.
No way she felt the same.
I gulp and lean forward.

Hehe so as you can tell I'm like hella obsessed with The 1975 and music in general...
I have usually always name my chapters from song lyrics I upload on the top and I think this song would match this chapter ;)
When they have a fucking music video for the song but refuse to play it live >.>
