Chapter 18: "I didn't even see you when I liked you" - Undo, The 1975

Part Two: Oh well I'm coming to an end

Kiera's POV:

The lights flash white. Finally, it stops and a single pink light stays lit as I hear the band shout, "Thank you SF!".

The crowd scream and the stage lights go off.

In a flash, white light lits the arena and people start flooding out.

The security guards had to keep some crazy fans from running onto the stage. I laugh to myself as we exit and I hear people screaming about how 'hot' Matty looked without a shirt.

I roll my eyes, remembering he didn't even have a six-pack.

It's kinda funny how fans can scream over someone they don't even know.

Kat looks back at me with a huge smile.

I smile back at her.

You know those moments when you're happy but you feel sad at the same time?

Yeah, as stupid it sounds, I'm feeling that right now.

I know Kat would never love me the same way but I know she supports me all the way through.

Linsta hangs back with me and she smiles. "Wow. What a long day... did you like the concert?", she asks me.

I smile at her, "Yeah! I never listened to this band but they were surprisingly good. I never heard music like this".

She beams at me and nods her head furiously. "That's what I say about them all the time!".

I laugh and she laughs with me.

A thought suddenly pops into my head that makes me sober.

She notices this and frowns. "What's the matter?", she asks me.

I sigh, "I was just thinking that we would probably never see each other. For all, I know you don't even live near SF and I feel like you're a friend I've known for so long".

She smiles sadly at me and says, "Yeah... I know people who have internet friends but as fun, as it sounds, sometimes it's hard because you would probably never meet them". She looks at me, kind of nervously and says, "The least we can do is exchange numbers and maybe follow each other on social media?".

I blush and say, "Um yeah. Sure!".

So we exchange our information and smile at each other.

Kat, Jordan, and Rachel were already outside, waiting for us.

Kat catches my eye and smiles like she knows something.

I blush at her and look away.

Kat looks at all of us. "Well... it was nice meeting all of you but-", she looks at me, "Kiera and I have to go".

I see Kat's dad in the car waiting for us. I smile and wave a final goodbye to everyone.

"Wait!"

Linsta catches me before I leave.

"Take this", she gives me the "Loving Someone" sticker. She winks at me, "I have an extra one", she holds up her own. "Just think of this as a friendship thing or something. I don't know", she smiles.

I smile back and hold it up. "May fate bring us back together".
