Chapter 22: "This must be my dream" - This must be my dream, The 1975
Kat's POV:
I cringe inwardly as I see people take out their phones and snapchat Kiera on the ground.
I already paid for my items but I wanted one picture with Matty Healy. Just one.
I waited for the crowd to go away and I approach him, nervously.
He looks at me and smiles.
"Hello".
OH MY GAASH HIS ACCENT IS SOOO CUWT!
I blush and say, "Erm hi. Can I take a photo with you?", my voice unusually higher and unsteady.
I gulp nervously.
He laughs and takes my phone.
We smile at the camera and he clicks the button.
"Thankyou!", I smile gratefully.
He smiles back and turns to leave but I catch him before he goes. "Um... can I talk to you about something?".
He looks confused at first but then it gets covered up by worriedness. "Yeah?".
GAWD HE'S AN ANGEL.
"You know that girl that got hit on the ground?", I ask.
He frowns and says, "Oh yeah... I kinda feel bad for letting down on her". He laughs, "Why?".
I gulp. I can't believe these are my first words to him. I dreamed of talking to Matty Healy but I know Kiera needs this.
"Well that was my friend... and you see she's having a hard time right now and just last month I took her to your concert. She had no idea who you guys were but at the end of the day, you saved her life. I'm pretty sure you heard this so many times to many fans but your music helped her accept who she is. It would mean a lot if you talk to her", I tell him.
He looks at me and smiles. "Sure! But tell me... I'm curious. What song saved her life?"

Kiera blushes as Matty hands her the hoodie. Linsta raises an eyebrow but doesn't say anything.
I smile. This is what I've always dreamed of.
Me. My best friend. Matty Healy. Who else am I missing?
As if right on cue, I see him.
