Kiera's POV:
When that boy walked away I kept staring at Kat. She was crying hard and I could see the emotion written on her face.
I knew it was too good to be true.
It's so hard to find someone who would love you back... especially if you were me.
"Sooo... who is he", I ask her, slightly annoyed.
Luckily Kat didn't seem to notice my tone for she looks at me sadly and replies, "That's Jace. My childhood friend for a very long time. My twin brother Alec was crushing on him for a long time and he finally told him. When Jace said some mean things to Alec, Alec couldn't stand the humiliation. He-he-", she broke down crying hard and I went to hug her.
"I trusted him. I- I liked him too for a long time but after what happened I can't stand to look at him. But it hurts. It hurts because even after what happened, I can't shake my feelings off", her voice shakes.
I grit my teeth. He's a d*ck how can she still like him?
"Kat he was the cause of your brother's death you can't forgive him", I try persuading her.
I know it's a selfish thing to do but this boy makes me so angry.
How can he say all those things about gays?
She nods her head and whispers, "Yeah. Yeah. You're right".
She shakes me off and without saying goodbye, and she walks to her next class as the bell rings.
