Chapter 26: "Don't fall in love with the moment and think you're in love with the girl" - She's American, The 1975
Kiera's POV:
I was laughing with Linsta and her stupid jokes when she stops smiling and frowns. I give her a questioning look but when she tries to shake it off, I already saw what her eyes were on.
I see Kat and Jace holding each other tightly as if their lives depend on it as they kiss each other passionately.
You know those moments when you know you should be happy because the person next to you is everything you need but for some reason, I felt a pang of betrayal in my heart as I saw Kat happy with someone else. So her best friend can't make her happy but the person that made her cry in the first place can?
I glare at the two as Linsta looks in between Kat and I in confusion.
"I thought you said you weren't dating Kat?", Linsta asks as she looks questionably at me.
I frown and reply, "We aren't...".
"Then how come you look jealous", her voice sounds sad.
I gulp and look at Linsta and Kat. I look back at Linsta to see her chocolate brown eyes in tears.
"You know what... nevermind. I guess I will see you later then", Linsta says, her soft voice flailing in the end.
And she walks away as I stayed still as a statue. I did nothing to go after her. My heart was so heavy I felt like I couldn't move.

I can't choose. Honestly, I can't.
They both mean so much to me.
Sure Linsta makes me feel so happy... but Kat is the one who's been in my life. She's the one that literally made my whole life happy.
Kat will always be the one who stole a part of my heart. A piece that I cannot give to anyone else but her.
If I chose Linsta, I don't know if I can put my whole effort into that relationship. And I don't want to ever hurt her.
Omg... am I seriously doing pros and cons for this?!
I sigh and close my eyes. I take a deep breath in and look ahead to see Kat and Jace looking straight at me.
