Kat's POV:
I glare up at him, my teeth clench tight together and my eyes bleeding red. "What the hell", I sneer at Jace.
His eyebrows knit together and he opens his mouth.
"No!", I scream at him. "No! No! No! You are not allowed to talk. You basically killed my brother and you think this note can tell you otherwise? Huh! You think just because Alec is so in love with you, he can't see the shitty side of your personality? He doesn't know what he's writing. He's just saying this to make us happy despite the fact that he's gone". I was crying hard now.
"Kat-"
"SHUT UP! I SAID SHUT UP", I cried.
He gulps and gives me a sad look.
"Don't give me that crap. Don't act innocent. Don't give me a letter that you yourself could have wrote and think you got away with what you did", I spit at him. "Look at this. Don't blame Jace. Oh, cut the crap! We all know he jumped off the bridge because you made his life a living hell. His own friend was making fun of him. People ganged up on him. He wasn't ready to tell the world about his secret and when he told you, you fucking threw it in the garbage. Just because Jace forgave you in this letter, that doesn't mean I do. I told you. We are over. Nothing has changed. This note means nothing". I flung the crumbled, now wet from my tears, paper to him and left him holding onto the last memory of my brother.
