Thursday
Day 5

Written in 3rd person

"Sabrinaaaaa! Get up we're going sledding!!" Sabrina's baby cousin Kyle shouted as he bounced on her bed to get her to wake up.

"I don't wanna go." She said while groaning and turning on her other side.

"Come onnnnnn, it'll be fun!" He continued to shake and rock her.

"Kyle leave that girl alone! Sledding is for the kids anyway, come out of there!" His mom, Auntie Brenda, came out of nowhere with her apron on.

Once Kyle left her room, Sabrina turned over in her bed and faced auntie Brenda.

She lived in Cleveland just like Sabrina and her family. Auntie Brenda and many other family members drove up here for the week long gathering.

"You ok?" She asked Sabrina

"Yeah I'm fine," she assured her, not knowing why she'd ask.

"Well the last time you slept in to 1:00 was when you were up all night worrying about Shane in the hospital because of his stomach flu. So something must be on your mind."

Sabrina sat up quickly, and you could tell she had a rough night because her boob had popped out of her shirt and her hair looked a mess.

She quickly fixed herself and looked at her phone. "It can't be-" she gasped "it's 1:00!"

Aunt Brenda laughed, "yeah that's what I said."

Sabrina was an early bird. Sleeping past 10:00 was a no no to her. She says it makes her feel "unsuccessful" when she doesn't wake up in the actual morning.

She sighed and leaned back against the headboard, still appearing to be very tired.

Aunt Brenda knew there was something bothering her. She knew she'd have her moment to speak with her later about it because right now would probably not be a good time.

Brenda smiled and placed her hand on the doorknob , "well I made a big breakfast a few hours ago. Yours is still in here, I know you're hungry."

"Y-yeah, I'll be down once I get cleaned up."

The door closed and Sabrina just couldn't believe that one guy would have her acting this way. Four times she had dreams about him last night. And before she had the dreams he was just on her mind, keeping her up half the night.

She got out of bed and texted Devin "good morning" before going into the bathroom and washing up. After spending thirty minutes in there you'd think he would have texted back by now, but she was greatly disappointed.

With her breath freshened and her body clean, she put on light brown jeans and white tee, with a light brown cardigan and fuzzy socks.

She straightened her hair, put on a few squirts of apple-scented perfume and huge gold hoop earrings.

Still no reply from Devin.

She headed down to the kitchen, and was so late to breakfast that she couldn't smell a thing.

"Well look who's up!" Her dad said with a smile, drawing attention from the rest of the family.

Sabrina gave a weak smile while going straight to the microwave since she was extremely hungry.

"When was the last time you slept in that late Brina?"

I shrugged, "I don't know. Long time ago."
