Marhinki 2: Just A Tuesday Night With Jordan

                Mari walked through the living room of her, and now husband, Sohinki’s home with a basket of laundry in her hand. “Ah, god dammit, Jordan!” she calls. “Yes mommy,” The little Asian boy says. “What did I tell you about picking up your legos?” she says. “Sorry,” he gets down on the floor and puts them back into the container. “Thank you,” She ruffles his hair. “Your dad should be home any minute, then we can have dinner.” She says taking the basket to the washer. “Dinner!” Jordan yells as he runs back to his room. Mari finishes loading the washer and hears the door open. “I’m home!” Sohinki calls from the door. “Great,” Mari says kissing him at the door. “Daddy!” Jordan runs into Sohinki’s arms. “How are you love bug?” He asks. “Good, I played at day care then I played with mommy!” He says. “Ah the challenge of the life of a two year old.” He says letting Jordan down. “Why don’t you go play while I make dinner?” Mari tells Jordan. “I’m making spaghetti.” “Yay Sketti!” he says cheerfully. “Sketti!” Sohinki says joking. Mari smiles.

                The family sat down for dinner. “Slow down piggy,” Mari says jokingly to her son. He smiles, sauce all over his face. “He’s a Sohinki, he’s a hungry man.” Sohinki says taking a big bite of pasta. Mari smiles. “Well, if he’s gonna be a man he’s gotta be clean for all those ladies.” Mari says laughing. Sohinki wipes Jordan’s face. “There’s that manly face,” he says making Jordan laugh.

                After dinner the family sat down to watch “Despicable Me.” In which Jordan loved until he fell asleep between Mari and Sohinki. Sohinki carried his son into the “Cars” Themed bedroom and Mari helped him get Jordan ready for bed. “Goodnight Love bug.” Mari says before turning off the light and leaving the door cracked.
