Phil was awaken by his daughter Sabrina early. “Come on daddy, it’s time for school!” she says. Phil put his glasses on and looked at the clock; it read 6:30. “Ok, but first, wake up daddy.” He says pointing at Dan who was still sleeping on the other side. She smiled and pounced on Dan. “Ah,” he says sleepily. “Daddy, it’s time to go!” She says. “Five more minutes.” Dan groans. “Yeah come on daddy it’s time to go!” Phil says. Dan yawns. “Fine, since it’s your first day.” He says ruffling his daughters messy blonde hair.

She got dressed in her school uniform and sat down at the breakfast bar with toast. Dan and Phil got ready as well. Phil leaving his glasses on, and Dan straightening is hair. She finished her toast and cleaned up after herself. Dan and Phil walked out and handed her, her backpack and lunch.

The family walked to the school. Dan and Phil subtly held hands while they kept a careful eye on their daughter skipping in front of them. They arrived at the school and was greeted by the teacher, ignoring the looks they got from other parents, they were used to it. They sat with Sabrina and said hello to Felix and Marzia whose son was also going to this school. “Well we’re going to get going ok?” Phil says. “Ok daddy,” Sabrina hugs Phil tight. “I’ll pick you up after school.” Dan says hugging her as well. “Ok daddy, I love you.” “I love you too,” Dan says. He and Phil wave her off as they walk out of the school.

Dan picked her up from school and on the way home she couldn’t stop talking about her first day. “I talked forever with Gregory about video games and DDR, he likes DDR too Daddy!” she says excitedly. “That’s awesome, maybe one of these days he’ll have to come over for a dance battle.” Dan says chuckling. “Can we?!” she begs. “We’ll see.” Dan says chuckling.
