Shisa 4: Kayla's First Vlog

                Shane opened the door to Kim and Anthony. “Hey guys, come on in.” He says. “Hey man,” Anthony says. “Kayla, Kim’s here!” Shane calls. Kayla runs out, Barbie in hand. “Hi Kim, come on I wanna show you the house I made for my Barbies!” she says. “Ok!” Kim says leaving her father in the dust. “So how’s life been?” Anthony asks awkwardly. “Uh, it’s been good yours?” Shane answers equally awkwardly. “Well I probably should get back home, What time do you want me to get her?” He asks. “Oh, 4 is good for us.” He says. “Ok,” Anthony says nodding. “Kim, I’m leaving!” “Bye Dad!” Kim calls from down the hall. “I’ll see you later then.” Anthony says walking out the door.

                Kim and Kayla loved playing Barbie with each other, they would always pretend that their dolls were sisters and they lived together and made Videos like their fathers and mothers. Today was no different. “I have an idea.” Kayla says. Kim nodded listening to her best friend’s scheme. Another thing about Kayla, she was great at schemes. “My mom has her camera on the desk in the office, if we can get the camera we can pretend we’re actually making a video.” She whispers. Kim nods. “Let’s do it.”

                Kayla snuck out, Kim following, into the empty office. “There it is.” She whispers pointing at the silver camera with a sticker on it. She tiptoed in, Kim stood look out. She grabbed the camera and they both quickly tiptoed back to Kayla’s room. Kayla opened the camera and hit record. “Um, Hi I’m Mickayla Dawson,” She says. “And I’m Kim Padilla, and before you ask, yes my father is Anthony Padilla.” “And today we are going to sing Cups by Anna Kendrick.” Kayla says. “Also, we will both be doing the cup song.” Kim says holding up a plastic cup with Cinderella on it. They sang and did the song with perfection. Kayla felt proud, and Kim’s face was red because she wasn’t used to being on camera, with the exception of being on a few vlogs. “We hoped you liked it,” Kim says. “And as my dad would say, I hope you had fun hanging with me, I had fun hanging with you and we will see you later bye!” Kayla says and she kissed the camera with her hand.

                Kim went home later and after Kayla went to bed Lisa looked over her camera footage. “Shane, come here!” Lisa says excitedly. She shows Shane the footage. “Oh my gosh, she even did the ending.” Shane says. “I think I’m going to upload it with my daily vlog.” Lisa says. Shane smiles “Oh my gosh she’s gonna be a little YouTuber.”
