{17} Mistletoe

3rd Person POV

Stiles walks into the animal clinic then Deaton comes to the entrance saying, "You're out of school early."

"Free period, actually." Stiles replied then continued, "I was just talking to Kyra at school a couple of minutes ago. You know, I guess you know that people are getting murdered again."

"You and Kyra would be talking about murders?" Deaton asked in confusion

Stiles said looking at Deaton, "Yea, that's one of the things we talked about. But, my point is that Kyra told me that if I wanted to know more about the supernatural, I should go ask the person who knows more of the supernatural than her. She was talking about you."

Kyra was currently with Lydia at the band room.

Kyra asked as she was drawing on a piece of paper that Lydia gave her, "Why are we here?"

"Because I'm meeting someone here," Lydia replied then looked over at what Kyra was doing.

Lydia asked, "What the hell are you doing?"

"Drawing a tree." Kyra replied then continued, "It's beautiful isn't it?"

Lydia rolled her eyes as she was looking at her notes.

Kyra chuckled then Danny went to her saying, "That's a nice tree."

"Thanks, Danny." Kyra replied smiling then Danny asked, "Why are you here?"

"Lydia." Kyra responded then a student called out, "15 minutes!"

Kyra and Lydia looked up and asked at the same time, "What?"

Danny replied smiling, "It's the 15-minute rule. Teacher didn't show up."

"Bye, Danny." Kyra replied then Danny said/whispered, "Bye, Kyra."

Everyone left then Kyra said as she folded her piece of paper, "I guess whoever you're meeting bailed on you."

Lydia didn't reply as she started walking forward to the piano

Kyra looked up and said, "Lydia."

Kyra stood up then walked over to Lydia then asked, "Lydia, you okay?"

Lydia clicked on the phone rewinding the track.

They heard the teacher say, "Recording piano part 3."

Kyra sighed in impatience then skip the track into where the lines were uneven.

They both heard a loud bang then Lydia and Kyra both stepped back

Kyra and Lydia both looked at each other then Kyra raised up the volume a little bit from the phone screen.

Kyra looks at Lydia and says, "We gotta call Stiles."

"Agreed." Lydia immediately says back

Stiles said walking behind Deaton, "The symbols, triskeles, the bank logo, the mountain ash, all of it is from the Celtic druids. Anyone who has ever looked up human sacrifices, the Celtic druids were pretty hard on when it came to giving up to the gods. Ever heard of the Lido man, 2000 body-year-old found in England, he was found strangled, throat cut, head bashed in, three-fold death. They found pollen grains in his stomach, guess what druid plant that was."

Deaton answered opening up the jar, "Mistletoe."

Stiles responded, "I'm just telling you everything, you know already know. Am I?"
