{41} Parent Or Guardian

3rd Person POV

Stiles started to hear footsteps in the basement. He wondered what was going on.

Scott banged on the door then said, "Stiles! Stiles, open the door!"

Stiles immediately opened the door for Peter and Scott, "Sorry."

"Help me get him in." Scott said handing Peter over to Stiles

Stiles asked quickly, "Where's Kyra? Did you see her? Is she okay?"

"She's looking for my mom. I have to go back for Derek and Jennifer." Scott responded

Stiles asked, "Scott, is she okay?"

"Stiles, she's okay. I'm going to get her and my mom." Scott said to him

Stiles sighed then said, "Okay, two problems. Kali's got the keys to this thing and I just saw the Alpha twins like, 30 seconds ago."

"Stay here." Scott said back to him

Going back inside, Scott walks through the hallway trying to find Kyra and his mom

The big wolf started to attack him holding him by his neck against the wall

"Where is she?" The big wolf asked then continued, "We're trying not to hurt you."

"Try harder." Scott said to them

"Hey!" Melissa shouted out then Kyra added holding one of defibrillator paddles, "Try this!"

They both hit the Alpha that shocks them separating them into two instead of one

"Sweetheart, get up!" Melissa said to him then Kyra helped Scott get up

Kyra said to Scott, "I can't do this without you."

Scott looked at her and gave her a warm smile

Walking down the hallway, Melissa then said, "He just let me go, said it was a gesture of goodwill. No other reason."

"He had to have a reason. I don't think he does anything without a reason." Scott responded

Melissa said back, "Well, if that means I should continue to be profoundly terrified, then don't worry about it. I got that covered."

Kyra said stopping them from walking, "Wait, someone's here."

She looked at Scott and nods her head to her right

Kyra uses her vampire speed grabbing Kyla by her neck to the wall. Kyla reversed it making Kyra be on the wall instead.

Kyra then said, "You're getting good at this."

"Well, I learned from the best." Kyla said letting go

Kyra and Scott were telling them what has been going on at the hospital

They were walking through the halls then Chris asked, "So then they're essentially trapped?"

"Yea there's no way of getting them out without turning the power back on." Kyra replied

Melissa then said, "But, wait, wait, wait, if the power's back on, they're gonna hear the elevator moving, right?"

"And they'll be on Derek and Jennifer as soon as it stops." Scott pointed out. "We can't get in a fight with them."

Kyla replied, "You've got us now."

Kyra responded, "It's too much to risk. They want her dead, and if she dies, there's nothing that we could do for Stiles's dad or Cora."
