{55} For You

3rd Person POV

At the animal clinic, everyone left except for Scott, Deaton, Stiles, and Kyra

Kyra commented putting on her jacket, "Well, that was fun."

Stiles chuckled then asked, "What now?"

"Kyla's staying at Javier's for now. She's probably hunting with him right now since it's dark out." Kyra said to him

Stiles nodded then Scott asked, "Do you think she's going to be okay?"

"It takes time, Scott. She just found out that her whole childhood wasn't as she expected." Kyra replied to him

Kyra sighed then continued, "There's something I need to tell you guys."

"What is it?" Stiles asked as his eyebrows furrowed

Kyra replied looking at them, "Derek left Beacon Hills with Cora and Peter. And I honestly don't know if he's ever coming back. A part of me hopes so. But another part of me hopes that maybe he'll be okay somewhere else."

"Well, my dad doesn't look like he's gonna be leaving for a while but just because he's staying doesn't mean he's welcome." Scott said to them

Stiles commented, "Well, that's a start."

Scott said to Deaton, "Stiles and I both feel it every day, just like you said we would, and it makes me think about that quote Jennifer used to start our first class because when I feel it, it's like I'm looking "into the heart of an immense darkness."

"So what do you do instead?" Deaton asked him

Scott looks at Kyra and Stiles saying, "I look for my friends."

Kyra and Stiles both smiled at him

Her smile faded as Deaton asked, "But what about Ms.Blake?"

"I don't know." Scott replied then looked at Kyra

He continued, "When we went back into the distillery, her body was gone."

Kyra added, "Yeah, and I felt her flesh when I ripped her heart out of her chest. How the hell can she still be breathing without a heart?"

Stiles responded, "Someone must've moved her."

"Weird." Kyra commented then Scott said to them, "Hey, I gotta go. My dad said he wanted dinner 'as a family.' "

"Good night." Scott said walking to the exit

"Good luck." Stiles and Kyra called out to him

Deaton looked at them and said, "I'll close up. Kyra, are you staying at my place tonight?"

"I'll be there. I just want to walk Stiles to his jeep." Kyra said to him then Deaton nodded his head in reply

Kyra and Stiles both walked outside then he said holding her hand, "You know, I never got the chance to thank you."

"For what?" Kyra asked looking at him

Stiles responded looking down at her, "You saved my dad, and you practically sacrificed yourself in order to find him. And most importantly, you stopped me from having a panic attack."

"I felt your pain, Stiles. And besides, you don't have to thank me. I owe your dad and you for everything you guys have done for me." Kyra said back

Stiles opened his door then got in and Kyra closed the door for him

Leaning on the door with her arms crossed on the window, she said, "Thanks, Stiles, for everything."

Stiles looks at her eyes adoringly saying, "You're so beautiful."
