{53} Fight The Demon

3rd Person POV

Back at the distillery, Scott and Kyla look around the place

Deucalion asked them, "You said you guys have a plan?"

"On our first day of class, Jennifer sent all of us a message. It was the last line from Joseph's Conrad's Heart Of Darkness." Scott said to him

Kyla added, "We have our own message to send her."

Jennifer looks at her phone analyzing the countdown for the Lunar Eclipse, then she got a video message from Scott

Opening it with curiosity, Scott said in the video, "You see this symbol? It's a symbol of revenge. You talk about balance, about saving people. We know what you really want, and now you know where to find us."

Derek looks at Kyra as she was listening with her vampire hearing from a distance

He walks up to her saying, "You okay?"

"Scott was the only one in the video, right?" Kyra asked then looked up at him

Derek nodded and said, "Along with Deucalion."

"Back at that distillery?" Kyra asked then Derek nodded his head

She said to him, "I haven't been there since my grandmother died. That place reminds me of her and now we're going there."

Kyra sighed to herself and said quietly, "Derek, everyone was a weakness no matter how strong they are. Remember that, okay? If anything, just follow my lead."

Derek nods then wrap his arms around neck saying in her ear, "This plan has to work."

"I know." Kyra said then continued, "I know it's going to work."

They both pulled back then looked at Jennifer as she was putting her phone away

"Come on, Jennifer. We have a demon to kill." Kyra said to her. "Fight the demon."

At the root cellar, the rocks above them started to fall on top of them

Untying the ropes, Isaac calls out, "Hurry!"

Melissa shouted as different items started falling, "Watch out!"

Making their way to the steps, Sheriff said, "Come on, let's get out of here!"

The steps suddenly broke apart leaving them wondering what else they can do

In the animal clinic, Javier was carrying Ethan's body laying it onto the table

Deaton was holding onto Aiden's body then said to Cora, "Cora, grab that table."

Cora knocked out all of the stuff that was on the table so that Deaton could lay Aiden's body down with the help from Javier

"Grab his hand." Javier said to Lydia since he knew their relationship

"Can you guys save them?" Lydia asked them

Javier replied, "Only if they can start healing on their own."

At the distillery, Scott, Deucalion, and Kyla were inside waiting for their arrival

Scott and Kyla started to see a shadow of Jennifer then appeared shadows of Kyra and Derek standing right beside her

Kyla was confused yet angry that she clenched her jaw along with her fists
