{46} To Protect You

3rd Person POV

Walking inside, Stiles's house, they walked up to Stiles's room.

She said to him, "Alex made the sacrifice to save me because he knew that it would help me kill Zachariah."

"Woah." Stiles commented then sat down onto his bed

Kyra closes the door then said as she leaned against the door, "I saw his body, Stiles. I remember crying, crying, and crying my heart out for him."

She continued, "The letter that he gave me. Alex wrote everything from the moment I met him, the moment we started talking, the moment he courted me, the moment he realized he loved me. I still have it up to now."

Kyra then said, "I could've changed the people that died for me into a vampire, but I was too late. And honestly, I would've regretted the fact that I made their lives worse by making them into a vampire, especially Izabella."

Stiles looked at her and asked, "You wouldn't have done it?"

Kyra slowly nods her head then said, "I stopped being myself after that. Because I lost something, Stiles. The part of me that was human. The part of me that had hope and light. I gave up that part of me that believed in peace and being normal."

She sits down next to him saying, "I lost that ability to care about someone again. About putting my life on the line for someone else. Time has changed, now. Scott, Derek, Deaton, Javier, Sheriff, Melissa, Allison, Lydia, Danny, Kyla, even Isaac, and you, you guys are the people I care about now. I can't-I'm not losing anyone else anymore. Not now, not again."

Stiles holds onto her hands as she said, "Stiles, the moral of the story is that people around me get hurt. People would risk their lives for me when it should've been me. Stiles, just know that everything I do even if it is the dumbest possible thing in the world, I do it for people I care about. To protect them. To save them."

Kyra kisses his cheek then got up still holding onto his hands

She said to him, "My job is to protect and to make things right with everyone. I need to do that and I hope you respect that."

Kyra starts to walk away then Stiles pulls her back saying, "Where are you going?"

"There's something I need to take care of, okay? I'll be back." Kyra said to him looking at him

She slightly smiles at him then lets go of his hands walking out of the door

Kyra used her teleportation powers to Deaton's apartment.

She took a quick shower then changed into a different attire
