{22} Pack Or Family?

3rd Person POV

Flashback

Derek makes the first move running up to Deucalion then Kali got in the way to take Derek slow down.

Kali roared then both twins, Ethan and Aiden, and Kyla and Kyra came down of the edge roaring in the area.

Landing, the Alpha twins became a giant Alpha meanwhile, the Valdez were as their form of a hybrid and a vampire.

Kyra helps Derek attacking Kali then Kyla helps Isaac and Scott go up against the twin Alphas.

Kyla got thrown to the wall causing a huge mark on the wall.

Kyra holds Kali from behind making Derek claw her chest.

Tossing Kali down, Ennis grabs Kyra turning her around then grabs her the back her legs, hitting her spine on the ground (author's note: spine buster)

Kyra groans in pain as Kali kicked Derek's legs making him fall to the ground.

Ennis grabs Kyra's arms holding her back making Kali claw her side with her foot and claws.

Kyra yells in pain, same with Scott as the Alpha twins clawed him

Kyla attacks the Alpha twins using her knees then Ennis comes holding both Kyla and Kyra while the giant Alpha holds both Scott and Isaac.

Kali uses her foot on top of Cora's neck, crushing it.

Deucalion ordered as Kyla looks at Boyd, "Kill him. The others can go."

Derek looks around and sees Kyra with her wound

Deucalion says, "You're beaten. Do it, Derek. Take the first step."

"Are we serious with this kid? Look at him. He's an Alpha? To what a couple of useless teenagers?" Kali asked looking at Derek and to everyone else

Deucalion replied looking at Scott then Kyra, "Some have more promise than others. Some still have unfinished business."

"Let him rise to the occasion then." Kali replied then asked, "What'll it be, Derek? Pack or family?" 

"The pack is our family." Kyra replied. "No matter what or who breaks it apart." 

Kyra looks at Kyla then they both hit Ennis using their foot

Ennis lets go then Kyra covers Kyla as Allison shoots her arrows at the Alphas. 

"Your eyes! Cover your eyes!" Deucalion ordered the pack 

Before she came, she talked to her dad in his office saying, "Someone needs to help them." 

"Not us. I'm getting the consulting business back up and running, and you need to graduate. That's a normal life and that's what we agreed to." Chris replied then he puts a book over his desk

"So we just ignore it?"  Allison asked then Chris replied, "We stay out of it." 

Allison responded, "There's a pack of Alphas trying to kill my friends. How do I stay out of that?"

Chris said to Allison, "There's a saying for these kinds of situations, the kind you have to navigate carefully. It's called, "Threading the needle." It's finding a safe path between two opposing forces." 

"Sounds like saving your own ass." Allison replied standing up walking to the door

Chris replied, "They're not your family."
