{31} You Never Look Back

3rd Person POV

Stiles and Kyra were in front of Lydia's house, they dropped her off after the death of their good friend.

They both saw Lydia enter her house, Stiles looks over to Kyra.

He asked, "Do you want to stay with me tonight? I don't mind."

Kyra turned her head looking at him and said, "Can you drive me to the hospital? I really want to see Deaton."

Stiles nodded his head in reply then he started up the jeep

"You could just drop me off there. You don't have to stay with me." Kyra said to him

"I want to. I'll stay with you. And besides, you're not going through this alone." Stiles responded making Kyra smile

Stiles parked his jeep at the hospital then they started heading inside.

Kyra saw Melissa then Stiles asked Melissa, "Hey, have you seen Deaton?"

"Yea, I did. They just finished operating on him. He's in room 158. He could have visitors." Melissa said to them

Kyra replied, "Thanks, Melissa."

Kyra held onto Stiles's hand walking down the hall to room 158.

Stiles slowly opened the door then Kyra walked inside and saw Deaton asleep

Kyra walked by his side then she said quietly, "Hey, Alan, it's me, Kyra. Look, a lot of things just happened and I want you to be okay. I need you to be okay."

Her eyes started to tear up saying, "I know you're trying to protect me. But, I don't need that. You should know me by now. I don't need protection because I'm a survivor. But, how the hell am I supposed to survive if you're not there with me along the way?"

She held onto his hands saying, "I need you, Alan. Please, don't leave me."

Kyra placed her lips on his forehead, as tears fell from her eyes

Stiles walks over to her, then Kyra looks at Stiles and hugs him tight.

"Thanks, Batman." Kyra said quietly

Stiles responded, "Anytime, Catwoman."

Kyra walked into Javier's apartment looking for Kyla

Javier was in his attire ready to head to work. He was just organizing the kitchen, making sure everything is in place

Kyra said as she was Javier, "Morning."

Javier turned his head saying, "Morning."

Kyra asked, "What are you doing?"
