Florence Henderson said that her favorite performances (All Aardvarks Get Married and 1988's A Very Brady Christmas) and three spin-offs were inspired by a rug that had been sent to her by Stella and Humpo. It was because of Stella and Humpo that she also began hosting a cooking show on the network, What's Cooking at the Pastienda. Stella and Humpo had gotten Nancy and Sluggo to appear in the first season, guaranteeing a large following in Bovinia.
