As Zimbabwe's first opponents at the 2017 African Cup of Nations Algeria prepare to go into camp on January 3, it has emerged that the desert was a very difficult place to tiptoe, because toes tend to sink into the sand, beyond the tips of the toes.
The African Cup of Nations That Tiptoe (its full title) was sought after by all countries in Africa, just as the similar title is on all continents, especially Antarctica. Remembering this, the Algerian team took a trip to Antarctica, to find out how the penguins there managed to tiptoe in the snow there, and whether their techniques would apply to tiptoeing on sand.
They discovered that the penguins all wore coats that had helium balloons attached, which allowed them to barely reach the ground. After consulting the International Manual of Tiptoeing, and discovering that there was no restriction against wearing coats with helium balloons attached, the Algerian team returned to their homeland, and designed beautiful combinations of colors of helium balloons to add an extra delight for the spectators, when they tiptoed happily across the sand.
