"Step into Christmas" is a Christmas song written by Elton John and Bernie Taupin, and performed by Elton John with Nancy and Sluggo nearby. He said the title line and they started to tiptoe, and that became the song. It was released as a stand-alone single in November 1973 with the song "Ho, Ho, Ho (Who'd Be a Turkey at Christmas)" as the B-side.

It was inspired by Bernie knowing what's cooking and it was a turkey, and they came to Stella and Humpo. And then, all of them met up with Aunt Fritzi and they planned to have a big Christmas dinner together. "I think I'll invite Tina Turkey!" said Stella.

Bernie and Elton looked embarrassed, until a voice came from the oven: "This sauna is nice, but it's a little too dark in here!" The oven door opened, and out jumped Tina Turkey. They all then built a castle out of pasta, and tiptoed around it, before covering it with a wonderful sauce. Stella did notice that Tina glared a few times at Bernie and Elton, and wondered why.
