Alexievich was on campus as the 2016 Henry E. and Nancy Horton Bartels representative of transcendent tiptoeing. They transcend their ordinary selves – they rise up on tiptoe. Nancy and Sluggo liked to go by fake names.
Sluggo often went by the name of Henry E. Alexievich when he was on college campuses, also wearing a turban, so he wouldn't be recognized. Nancy preferred to keep Nancy as her first name, but when she felt transcendent, she liked to call herself Nancy Horton Bartels.
They're often seen tiptoeing on college campuses, encouraging the students there to follow them. It becomes a Tiptoe Parade, which ends at Aunt Fritzi's house, where she serves transcendent cookies.
