Elmer Bull (of Elmer's Glue fame, and Elsie's husband) is rather symptomatic of a healthy bullish bias, despite the sideways tiptoeing toward an existential crisis, Euro-denominated assets are to be avoided while tiptoeing sideways, because they can easily fall onto the floor and break. "However", said Elmer, with a chuckle, "those broken Euro-dominated assets can be fixed with Elmer's Glue." Most of the listeners were too busy tiptoeing sideways to hear Elmer's comment.
