Most people are unaware that The Score is a popular hotel on a beach in Florida. Lucky Man went there every year to see his best friends Fred and Gertrude Lady, who lived next to the hotel. Fred and Gertrude were also friends with Greg Lake, who'd often stay at The Score. He'd once told Bryan Ferry about The Score after a concert that both Roxy Music and ELP were in, and it soon became Bryan's favorite vacation spot. He also became good friends with the Ladies. Both Gertrude Lady and Bryan liked to garden, so Bryan asked Gertrude if he could plant potatoes there, the next time he visited.
