Chapter 35

Narrative

"Are you okay?" Hiccup asked concerned as he had walked up to Astrid and she thrown his bag to him.

"Yeah I'm okay. I nearly got killed though," I said and Hiccup had chuckled before going over to Astrid to see if there were any injuries on her and a blush had started to creep onto her cheeks.

"Hiccup, I am fine. Let's just go before the other's show up." Astrid said before she had walked off into the forest with Hiccup trailing behind her. As the two of them had trailed off into the forest, they hadn't noticed that Matthew had ran over to Willow's dead corpse and he had looked at what Thresh had done.

He had seen that there was blood dripping out of her skull and with her waist it had quite a lot of bruises and a few little scratches which were bleeding. "I can't believe she is dead..." Matthew mumbled to himself before he had gotten up from Willow's dead corpse with his right fist clutched, before he had looked around the area to see if there was anyone around the area before grabbing Willow's and his bag.

After he quickly grabbed the bag, he had gone the opposite direction where Astrid and Hiccup had gone leaving Willow's dead corpse there.

Hiccup

"Hiccup, were you and Willow are couple back at district 4?" Astrid said as she had looked over to shoulder to me and I nod quickly.

"Yeah, we were for about a month, but then I said we needed a break before she was so clingy."

"Well, you know she said that I stole you from her." Astrid said as we had continued to walk through the forest heading towards our old territory and to see the mocking jays around the place, it was beautiful.

"No, you didn't. On the reaping in my district the boys always get picked first or their volunteer. No boy had volunteered so we were picked by the host and I was chosen. But when I was chosen and I was up on the stage I had looked over to Willow to see her crying so she had put her hand up when they asked if any girls wanted to volunteer. I didn't even want her in the games, but as we had breakfast or we had time to hang out, she always used to follow me. That's the reason why I hate her so much because she used to be such a bossy boot. But now, I never have to see her again because Thresh killed her." I explained as we continued to walk past the water supply and I heard a sigh come out of Astrid.

"Hiccup, you said that you were single back when we met." (Chapter 16 XD).

"I actually broke up with her on the train, but really she didn't believe it and kept doing the stuff to me. But when I was alone with you. I really enjoy myself." I admitted and I saw her smile extremely widely.

"Really?"

"Really, M'Lady." I said before the two of us had continued to walk through the forest but Astrid had stopped for a minute.

"Do you really think Matthew is going to come after us?"

"Probably, you know how he wants revenge on Thresh and us two. He probably was excited for you to be dead you know." I said.

"Yeah... maybe..." I heard her mumble and I gave her a supportive smile and she returned it.

"What do you think we should do?" Astrid asked as she had put her pack down and I had sat down leaning on a tree.

"I reckon we should see what supplies we got from our bag, then see what is most useful for battle or eating supplies." I said before I had opened my bag up and it reveals a couple of apples, soup and a small knife.

"Did you get anything?"

"Yeah, I got 5 apples, a couple of folded in arrows and some medicine." Astrid said smiling as she had clicked the two arrows together (That doesn't happen in the movie if you haven't watched it, I just decided to add a couple of more in).

"Those two arrows will come extra handy..." I mumbled to myself.
