It'll be explained in greater detail, but the short of it is that he is emotionless. He has no emotion. He will speak in a monotone voice and will always be neutral about stuff. He isn't suppose to feelings to begin with, so stuff like hobbies, dislikes, etc. he isn't suppose to have.

Biography:
Yin is the twin to Yang, being made side by side. Their creator was unknown, but apparently had the Yin/Yang concept in mind when creating the two.
However, while Yin was being created, there was a glitch. This meant that he would automatically go maverick. This glitch could not be fixed in a timely matter, so he was left without a real personality instead of being scrapped.
So any "emotion" he learns by watching others, but he really can't feel the "emotion". He has opted to not express these emotions because of this fact. His main partner is his sister Yang, but does work with the others and has Hotshot as his navigator from time to time. Especially when Banshee is trying to deal with the maverick, RedGear.

She is a happy and caring reploid to those that she knows and works with, but she can be irresponsible at times, which has landed her in hot water and was called an air head.
Friends:
Everyone that will listen to her . Mostly Banshee, Moon-light, and Sunny. She is unerved by Hotshot.
Biography:
Yang is the twin sister to Yin, who is emotionless. She is the one to keep him in check because of this and refusing to be separated with her brother.
They were brought in after the event of the first game as rookies. By the events of the third game, they were rank B hunters. Their mentor is Hotshot along with Banshee.
They help out with Banshee to deal with the maverick RedGear while still doing their own assignments.
It is to assume that Yang knew of Sunny before she died, but only went on a mission with her once.
