Origin: 

     The name "Kira" is a name from Russia, which the name Kira is a feminine form of the name "Kir" which means "mistress or ruler", but can also be "leader of the people", "one the people look to", or "beloved".  

     The name "Salazar" is a surname that means "old hall". The originates from a town that was also named Salazar located in northern Burgos, Castile.

personality: 

     Kira is very hot blooded and is quick to anger. It isn't a blind rage though and will usually put himself in isolation to cool himself down. Which is the crows nest. However, he is also not one to be sitting around with nothing to do. So it is more likely that he will find himself a chore to do on the ship or be playing a song on his guitar.

Biography: 

     Kira Salazar was born some where in the Philippian islands, where his family first traveled there before he was born. His family was poor though and he could go days without eating anything. 

     Even as a young boy, he would fight those that would bad mouth his family. This would only make things worst for his family any himself. As any young boy did, he did love his parents very much and did not wish to see them suffer. So in all of an 8 year old boys wisdom, he ran away from home so that they did not have to worry about him anymore. 

     It was about half a year that he left home that he had taught himself how to steal and pickpocket wealthy individuals or traders not from the area. His favorite place was the docks, which is where fate decided to play a hand. 

     Kira decided to pickpocket a pirate women he saw that was talking to an older man. This was none other the Nina doing a request from an individual. He successfully pickpocketed her, but he was spotted by her. He was chased down by Nia, which was difficult to do. He thought he lost her in the streets, but she eventually found and caught him. 

     Nia brought him back to the ship where she fed him and gave him new clothes then the rags he wore. Maybe Nia saw something in Kira or maybe he was seeing things, but Nia decided to give him a place on her crew and to train him to be better then he was originally. 

     Kira was reluctant at first, not sure what game she was playing, but after a few days he accepted since he saw that she was doing no harm. After this, he started to gain discipline and a new hobby. This hobby would include a guitar that Nia gifted to him. He found he was quite good. 

     He can now be found training, playing his guitar, or up in the crows nest.
