Kingdom Hearts: DJ Bee



Full name: 

     Hachi Kiu

Name Origins: 

     Hachi means "Eight" and is Japanese is Origin. 

     Kiu, apparently, can means "is age, order" and "is wing", "is hope" and "is wing", or "is prayer" and "is rain".  This all depend on the Kanji used of course, so this is Japanese is origin.

     DJ Bee

     Mozart Key

Personality: 

     She is a sassy individual who really is not a dependent on those around her. It is very hard to get her angry, although she gets disappointed. Which can be, arguably, worst. She is the kind of person that sees the good side in people and would rather be an optimist rather then a pessimist. Even though she doesn't talk, she always have things to say and likes to speak her mind, sort of speaking.

Note: 

     DJ Bee was based of a person named Helen Keller. Helen Keller was bother blind a deaf since the age of 2 because of a illness that left her blind and deaf. However, despite this, Helen was an educator, an advocate for the blind and deaf, and was the co-founder of the ACLU, which stands for the American Civil Liberties Union, which is, by the websites claims, "dares to create a more perfect union-beyond one person, party, or side."

     DJ Bee was also based off an original character created for the Ruby Spears Megaman animated series. This girl was named Mary from the episode "Cold Steel". Mary is deaf, but she can hear the beats coming from speaker. This can be seen where Dr. Light turns on some classical music and Mary comes up to it, putting her hand on the speaker to feel it. This has been incorporated into DJ Bee because Bee has the ability to be able to sense wave length, similar to Mary. Although, because she is also blind, this has been amplified. 

Biography:

     DJ Bee, or Hachi Kiu, was born in Twilight town to a working father and a stay at home mom. She was born deaf and so never learned to speak. She learned ho to do sign language though, which became her main way of communication with a white board for those that didn't know how to do sign language.

     When Hachi turned 5, an illness struck her that affected her eyes. They weren't removed, but she was rendered blind. She started out using a cane at first, but she quickly learned how to use echolocation. She could feel the wave lengths from her feet hitting the pavement, people talking, or snapping of fingers. She ditched the cane when she mastered this.

     When Hachi turned 13, she took up music, specifically DJ. She was given the nickname of DJ Bee due to the colors that she preferred and that her symbol was that of a Bee.

     When she was 16, she met a person that seemed to be older then her. 

     Bee was walking back home alone that night, taking special care to concentrate of her surroundings. But she stopped when she noticed a person just standing at the big field in town. no one should be there at night.

     The stranger, taking note of Bee's eyes, walked up to her and wrote in her hand.

     "I am lost."

     Bee smiled and nodded, signing "are you new here?"

     "Yes."

     "Well then, where are you off to then?"

     "Where to then?"

     "Around."

     Just then, Heartless emerged from the shadows. The stranger turned away from Bee to face them. Bee then felt the stranger took her hand and started to run with her.  Bee couldn't tell where they were going, but it was anywhere then there.

     When the stranger stopped, she stopped. They were safe for now. The stranger then held out an object, when Bee toughed it, it felt like a hilt.

     "I need your held," wrote the stranger. "Hang in to this for a moment."

     Bee nodded in understand. The next moment, she felt something warm and then cold. She let go and rubbed her hand with the other. 

     However, she felt an unearthly wavelength. The Heartless found them.

     The stranger, this time, turns to face them. He then attacks the Heartless, leaving Bee shocked. She felt the warmness come back, and she felt like she knew what to do. She flicked her wrist and her own blade emerged. 

     She fought with the stranger until there were none left. The stranger smiled, placing a hand on Bees shoulder. 

     "I knew I chose well."

     He then explained who he was and what he was doing there. He was searching for someone and he needed help.

     Bee smiled. He would help him. Fighting Heartless to find his friend that he lost so long ago.
