Background:
It is unknown of who Pride was before the 7 Deadly Sins since anyone connected to her past life is both unknown and unaccounted for, perhaps dead. However, there are rumors.
The first says that she might have been a farmer girl that worked in the fields, probably having a mom, father, and siblings. It says that she could have been stressed because they were losing money and decided to kill them and run off.
The second says that she was from a rich family. She was, supposedly, the eldest out of her siblings. She was subjugated to harsh words from her parents to be the best of the best which she snapped and killed them, again running off.
The last says she is from a traveling caravan in which she was an only child and only a mother. Her mother put emphasis on Pride, whom ever she was called, into working day in and day out. Training to be the best trapeze the caravan had. Her mother was abusive when training her, so Pride disliked her. She finally had enough of the abuse and killed her mom in her sleep along with the caravan occupants.
All of these rumors have never been stated true and Pride has never confirmed it with her boss, Wrath.
However, it is known that she has ninja like abilities, so perhaps she was actually a ninja before the Sins or she just taught herself in her off time.
Whatever is the case, she never talks about her past and deals with anyone that even tries to figure it out.
