Kara was out in the streets again that Saturday night. Jogging has been her main stress reliever recently and at the same time, she's becoming healthy.

She had been running for the past hour and she was only pausing to drink water. Whatever fate brought her, she passed by the same restaurant where she saw Adam and the woman he's dating and found the same pair about to go out of the restaurant.

She was frozen on her place and Adam saw her. She didn't know what to say nor how to react.

"You know each other?" the woman he was with asked.

"Ah... Yes," he answered. "She's my... Colleague. Kara, this is Missy Borja. Missy, this is Kara Benavidez."

Missy extended her hand to Kara but she didn't accept it. She lowered her hand.

"Let's go?" Missy asked.

Adam nodded and they turned their back on her. They haven't taken three steps yet when she spoke.

"I'm not her colleague."

They both stopped on their tracks and looked at her.

"Excuse me?"

"I said, I'm not Adam's colleague. Yes, I may be a colleague but we were more than that. Right, Adam?"

"What is she saying?" Missy asked him.

"I don't know what she is talking about," he lied. "Let's just go Missy."

"If you do not know, then let me refresh it to your memory," she answered, madness evident on her voice. "Adam's my ex. I was the first, second one's named MJ. And you are the third. Welcome to the club."

She saw Missy's face turn red. "Is that true?!" she demanded.

"No, Missy. Don't listen to her. It's not true," he tried to pacify her. "None of what she said is true. She's not my ex. I don't have anyone named MJ."

"What, don't tell me Missy's the fourth one so what I said isn't true?" Kara asked him.

"Stop it Kara. Stay away from this!" Adam told her. "Missy please..."

She saw how Missy slapped him. Twice. "Damn you Adam! Fuck you! DIE, asshole!"

And there, Missy left the two of them. He ran after Missy and Kara followed them. She got inside her own car and drove. When Missy was gone, Adam then turned to her.

"You!" he pointed at her. "Why are you so fond of getting yourself involved on situations that you shouldn't?! We're over, right? Why don't you put that on your brain?"

She pushed him. "What? The moment you say it, you think I will be able to accept it? You fooled me Adam! You told me a lot of lies and I was so stupid to believe them! Now you are asking me why I'm involving myself with this?! I'm not done with you yet and I would not stop until everything about you is destroyed!"

"You did it!" he shouted at her. She was surprised. "Missy left me because of you! I love her and she has been my girlfriend for three years now! She's my first and not you. Now you just drove away the most important woman in my life! We're getting married soon and here you are, running after me. I didn't promise you anything Kara. I'm done, okay? Just leave me alone. We're done and I would never go back to you. Just... Accept it."
