We opened the sky,

Pulled down the moon

We saw through the dark

And we found the truth, I found you

He was grumpy.

Jaida, Bill, and Kara have been trying really hard to cheer him up the following morning. Kara was still finishing her bath when he started being crabby. Jaida thought he was being sleepy until she was able to realize that it was because of Kara leaving.

He already has put her luggage back to the compartment of his car and was just waiting for Kara to be ready so they can leave.

Bill tried involving Stewart in the scene by making the dog follow some new tricks, Jaida made her specialty as breakfast for Kara, Kara hugged him for a long time but his mood did not change.

As soon as she was ready, Kara kissed the two goodbye and went inside his car. He was silent while driving while she tried all that she can to make him smile.

"Chad Lewis, I don't need a frown before I leave," she told him.

Chad looked at her and she knew what he was feeling. She was feeling the same way but she preferred to think that they will meet again soon.

"I'll miss you that's why I'm being too cranky," he said seriously.

Kara smiled at him understandingly and moved closer to embrace him as he was driving. "I will miss you too but I do not want to remember you as someone frowning when I leave."

He caressed her arms and forced a smile. "I'll try babe."

"I don't need you to try. I need you to do it."

He was at least smiling for the rest of the trip. They were at the airport around nine in the morning and they had breakfast on a nearby restaurant. They met Barbara at the airport who came in ahead of time. The three of them went. She was quiet and Chad as well.

As soon as they were done eating, they went to the departure entrance. Barbara bid him goodbye and went inside the airport.

"So I guess, this is it for now. Until I see you again?" she asked him.

Chad smiled. "Yes. That would be tomorrow when I call you," he answered and kissed his woman. "I'll miss you."

"Me too," she said. "No more flirting with other girls. No more excessive alcohol drinking."

"Wish granted," he followed.

"I have two pairs of eyes watching you for me. They would directly report to me. By the way, their loyalty are now transferred to me," she told him.

"I figured that out," he laughed. "If Stewart can talk, it would make three pairs of eyes."

"No more night life without Garza. I trust him," she reminded.

"No night outs at all," he agreed. "It's a renewed Chad from this day on."

"Good," she smiled. "I need to go inside now. I'll call you as soon as I can."

"I'll wait for it," he said and squeezed her into a tight hug. "I love you."

"I love you too," she replied. Kara gave him another kiss before she pulled her luggage with her to go inside the airport. They were ten meters apart when Kara stopped. "CHAD LEWIS!"

Chad was surprised when he heard his name and looked as to where it came from. People were looking at them.

"I LOVE YOU! I LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK! I WILL LOVE YOU UNTIL THE SUN LOSES ITS LIGHT!"
