She said she'd love to rendezvous
She asked me what we're gonna do
Said we'd start with a bottle
Of moet for two

He handed her flowers as soon as they got inside his car. She smiled as he turned on his engine.
"Thanks," she told him.
"A guy courting you should have handed it to you when he first saw you. I just don't want them to think of anything," he smiled.
Kara felt her heart sting a bit. It wasn't because she wanted him to court her but rather she felt like her ego was hurt. She should know it. He already told her that she is not his type.
He's not mine either anyway.
They headed to a quiet restaurant that serves good food. He once brought Raffy there where they enjoyed good steak and the mashed potato. He made a reservation and dined as soon as the food got served.
They looked good together, looking at them from the outside but what they were talking about was too different. They were studying how the others were moving. It was like Dining Etiquette 101. She just listened to him and looked on every person he was describing.
"You look good by the way," he said.
"Excuse me?" she didn't know if she heard him right.
"You made a good choice with the clothes and the make up. I would bet you got some eyes follow you and whistle when you passed by," he said.
"Well... Thank you," she smiled at him. What he said felt like an achievement for her.
He praised her.
They continued discussing a lot of things about themselves. She shared the kind of life that she has before she became a teacher.
"You see, I was raised by my parents who both worked as farmers. We do not have anything but just hard work and determination," she told him.
"I am a farmer myself," he told her and sipped from his wine. "It's a very rewarding job. I learned to appreciate more what I have because of what I do for a living."
She smiled. "When I first met you, I thought that it would be hard to deal with you. But since that day you had me have a haircut, it changed the way I see you."
He laughed. "So how do you see me before?"
"Don't get mad at me for saying this. I was thinking you were the snobbish one, the one I wouldn't come to terms with," she smiled. "It's like I would have to brawl with you every time we would cross paths."
"I thought so. I didn't like you either," Chad said.
"Can you slow down a bit and hold your tongue?" she laughed with his comment.
"I'm just being honest. I just gave you my first impression," he said.
"Tell me, what did you think of me then?"
Chad laughed. "You were eating the cupcakes someone gave me. I do not know you. What do you think would be my impression?" he asked her. "I was thinking if you might be stealing my car next."
"Really now, do I look like I am a carnapper?" she raised her eyebrows.
"No. But you didn't look normal that time either," he said. "Kara, what if a guy walks up to you right now and asks you out for a date, what would you say?"
