"Why are you no longer seeing me?" Raffy confronted Chad. It had been two weeks that he didn't see her despite her constant nagging.

"I'm just doing some stuff," he smiled. "How's our baby?"

She slapped him on his arm. "Don't ever let Ethan hear that. I know he's already jealous and he's just putting up with it because I am on my first tri. He's trying to make it up to me since he wasn't around when I was carrying Cali."

Chad laughed. "C'mon, you are married and you have two kids. It is so unjust to get jealous."

"So what kept you busy?" she asked.

"Wouldn't tell you."

"Girl? Girls?"

"Why do you want to know?"

"So it is a girl. Who?"

"You'll meet her soon," he answered.

"Do I know her?"

"I don't think so," he smiled. "Where's my first born?"

Raffy laughed. "He's in the kitchen. He's making pizza with his genetic daddy."

"I'm sorry I'm late," he told Kara as soon as he took a seat beside her. They have agreed to meet at Trinoma and he was late by thirty minutes.

"It's okay. Where have you been?"

"I went to Raffy's house. I haven't seen her for a while and she called me," he explained.

"Who's Raffy?"

"She's my ex," he smiled. "So for today, you'll have some make over. There's a nice massage and spa therapy somewhere near here."

As soon as she was ready, they went to the place he was referring to. Walang masyadong tao doon and inasikaso agad sila. They had whole body massage while Kara had facial and foot massage, and manicure-pedicure service. She was smiling when they were done.

"You look glowing," he smiled at her.

"Thanks to you," she laughed. They had vegetable salad for dinner after the massage. They don't have any other plans than that. The night before, they went to another bar and she had an improvement when it comes to dressing up.

The teachers were noticing the changes with her. They were happy with what they saw in her and slowly, she was forgetting the pain that she went thru. She didn't stop her habit to jog when she doesn't go out with Chad.

That night, she was free and decided to run. It was one of the lessons Chad instilled in her - being healthy.

She was on her third kilometer when she saw Adam going out of a restaurant and he was alone. It made Kara stop on her tracks. No one spoke.

"You look different now," he said first.

Kara nodded. She didn't know what to do. It was like she didn't move on at all. Her heart was screaming his name too loud. All the changes that she was trying to do were all gone and she was back to the same old lady with the long hair.

The ugly Kara.

"It's a good change," he said and smiled. "I wish you happiness." He turned his back on her and was about to leave.
