She made a face when she saw Chad's comment on the last part. They were near the Army Gym at Taguig, lying on the grass, after playing paintball. She was tired and she took her phone out to hand it to him so he can answer her simple questionnaire she made on her mobile.
"Yet to see? How will you see it?"
He looked at her. "You wanna know?"
She nodded.
Chad moved nearer to her and tilted her face towards him with his one hand. He moved his face closer.
"Kiss me."
Kara swallowed and felt like all the color in her face drained. "Are you bluffing? Are you testing me?"
"Just kiss me," he pushed her.
"No," she told him and stood up from where she was lying. Chad did the same.
"So, you failed the last," he said.
"And why did I fail?"
"If you believe in yourself, there wouldn't be any hesitation on your end," he said.
"But a kiss alone doesn't measure it!"
"I know," Chad answered. "But that was the easiest. Lunch?"
She didn't answer and remained frowning.
"Cut the drama, Kara. I'm not interested to kiss girls who used to have braces," he mocked her.
Kara got irritated with what he said and smacked hard his arm. "What did you just say?!"
"I'm glad you're back to normal right away. Let's have lunch now," he grabbed her hand and pulled her with him.

"Who's exactly running on your mind?" Carissa asked her, snapping her back to reality.
"W-what?" she asked her.
"Tsk," Carissa commented. "Bad case. Not curable."
"Is it?" Bea smiled. "How bad?"
"Hopeless."
"What are you two talking about?!" Kara asked them unknowingly.
"We're talking about you," Carissa said. They were at the school canteen having lunch.
