She was wearing pants and some light sleeveless top while she kept her hair down, light make up on, her shoes heeled.

She looked blooming and really happy. She is indeed pretty and no one would contest that she looked more incredible.

Pregnancy and family life suited her well.

Chad was catching up with Raffy as she took food and put it on her plate. He carried Cali and they were both laughing the whole time. Cali on the other hand was hugging him.

"So, how's Colbie? I want to drop by and see her," he asked. "Does she look like me?"

Raffy laughed. "No. She looks like his dad. Again! C'mon, what will I do to make my kid look like me!"

"Make the baby on your own," Chad kidded. "Why didn't you bring her?"

"Ethan will. He'll be here in a while. He needed to pick something up before he can go here and Cali wouldn't stop pestering him until he agrees to have us go first. I wanna see my uncle daddy, that's what he kept on rattling," Raffy told him.

"But let's stop talking about my noisy family," she interrupted him. "How are things with you and Kara?"

"We're good. I dragged her here yesterday and she's having a good time," he answered. They were on their family's resthouse and he invited his old teammates during his college basketball years for some post-Christmas celebration like what he used to do when he was still based here. Most of them are already married.

"Any chance of wedding bells soon?"

Chad smiled. "There is."

"Oh really?!" Raffy exclaimed. "I'm happy for you! What's the plan?"

"I wouldn't tell you," he answered.

"Fine but remember, whatever happens, we will make the cake, okay?"

Chad laughed. "Give it to us as a gift."

"I'll talk to my husband," she winked.

Kara had been sulking on her table for the longest time. Chad dragged her to his family's guesthouse after obtaining permission from her mother. She was excited and glad to be with him yesterday and the two spent a lot of time exploring the place. He taught her how to ride a horse and they went to the beach last night.

She knew that he was putting up a reunion for his friends during college and she was fine with it.

Until she saw Raffy came in with Cali.

Chad introduced the two again and Chad excused himself for a while. He carried Cali and walked with Raffy while she remained on her seat, refusing to go with them.

Kalma ka lang Kara. Kalma lang, she thought. Alam mo na kasama 'to. At least, inuna ka.

She was trying her best not to cry and walk out. There were other people she already met and she was not in the mood to be social at that time. If only she could hide on their room, she would have done so.

Chad was on the buffet table with Raffy who was getting food for Cali. She stared at them, specifically at Raffy.

She didn't realize that a man took the seat beside her. He noticed Kara staring on Chad's direction and she was frowning.
