Chapter 26: The Mission (MORE LEMONS)

I heard a bird screech and I jumped up. I saw a hawk perched on my windowsill, flying away once he realized that I had noticed him. Turning to the clock, I saw that it was 6:23 in the morning. I groaned and pushed Kakashi. "I'm up, I'm up," He said groggily. "The Hokage wants to see us," I told him, rubbing my eyes. Tired, we pulled our usual jonin attire on and went to the Hokage tower.

"Ah, you're here," Lord Third greeted us as we entered his office. Tsunade and Jiraya were there, too. I wondered what they were doing here. "I'm sending your four on an S-ranked mission," The Hokage started. So the Sannin were with us? This must be a very important mission, "We have received intel of spies from the Hidden Valleys Village. They know too much of our further plans in the war. They work for a certain Lord Hachigoro. I need you four to assassinate him and all of his spies." He handed us a stack of files with information on the Lord and his henchmen. We studied them for a bit, and nodded. "I need you to head out as soon as possible," He said grimly, "There is a lot at stake here." We simultaneously nodded and left the office.

"We'll meet at 7, by the gates," Tsunade said strictly, "Gather your things. We need to be quick." We nodded to each other and went to our homes to pack. "This castle looks pretty," I said to Kakashi as I stared at one of the files. The castle was where the Lord and his men presumably were, "It's a shame we're going to destroy it." Kakashi smiled mischievously, "I love how your mind works. But this is an assassination, we're going to have to be stealthy." I grinned, "I was only joking. But the inside of it might be ruined." We laughed together as we reached our apartments. "See you in a bit?" He said. "You bet."

I packed my things and strung my backpack onto my back. I made sure my weapons were in their places in my holster and pouch. My fingers found the chakra necklace I cherished so much. Kakashi's chakra floated inside of it. I watched it for a minute before I left my apartment, locking the door behind me. I waited for Kakashi in the hallway. After a few minutes, he came out, taking my hand, and we left.

We arrived at the gates at 6:55. Tsunade and Jiraya still weren't there, but they had five more minutes. "I hope this all goes well." I said. "It will. We have you and two of the Legendary Sannin." I giggled, "You know, you're not so bad yourself, Copy Ninja," I said, inching closer to him. He smirked, "Oh, I'm the best." He leaned in and kissed me. "You know I'm better than you," We laughed and saw Tsunade and Jiraya approaching. "Shall we?" Jiraya said once they had come up to us. Kakashi and I nodded, and we were off.

We sprinted through the trees, my Kazegan activated to make sure nobody was trailing us or waiting for us ahead. Kakashi stayed close to me, which made me feel comfortable. I was glad Kakashi was on this mission with me. Well, Lord Third had picked the best, after all. After about 6 hours, we stopped to rest and eat lunch. I stood watch while everybody ate whatever they had to eat. I focused on trying to spot somebody else's chakra, but nothing seemed to show up. I saw Kakashi's chakra behind me and turned around. He had brought me a bag of trail mix and an apple. "Kashi, you're so sweet," I smiled to him. He gave me his closed-eyed smile, "You have to be at your full strength." He stood by me, eating his own trail mix while I ate the one he had given me. "Thanks, Kashi," I looked around once again, "It's no problem."

After everyone had replenished their strength and rested up, we headed out once more. I kept my Kazegan activated as we jumped through the tall trees. It was pretty uneventful. We didn't see anybody who wasn't supposed to be there, nor did we spot anything suspicious. We weren't far away from the Hidden Valleys as the sun went down. As soon as night fell, the village came into view. We approached the gates, the two ninja guarding it halting us. "Leaf nin, huh? What are you doing here?" One of the guards asked us while the other eyed us suspiciously. "We are just passing through," Kakashi said nonchalantly, "We're headed to the Sand, but getting there would take another day at least, so we were hoping we could rent a hotel room and spend the night here." The guards seemed pleased and let us through. I spotted the castle we were supposed to infiltrate automatically. Compared to the small houses scattered throughout the village, the mansion-like building was enormous, towering over everything else. We proceeded to find the local hotel.

It was a small hotel, but cozy. We entered and the girl at the reception table greeted us, "Welcome to the Valley Hotel!" She gawked at Kakashi as he spoke up, "We'll need two rooms, one with two beds, the other with one." The girl eyed me and tried to flirt with him as I rolled my eyes, though I did feel a pang of jealousy, "Are you sure? Maybe both rooms should have two beds?" Kakashi smiled and put his arm around me, "No, thanks, what I said will be fine." She huffed and I mentally did a victory dance. My boyfriend was the best. I still couldn't really say that normally. My boyfriend Kakashi Hatake. It sounded so good.

"Okay, here are the room keys," The girl said glumly as Kakashi paid. He grabbed my hand and led the way, Tsunade and Jiraya following. Once we reached our designated rooms, they were right across from each other, so we could easily get to one another if the need ever occurred. Kakashi handed Tsunade her and Jiraya's key, unlocking our door room as he did so. "Jiraya, I will kill you if you try to pull something on me." I heard Tsunade grumble and I stifled a laugh. "Oh, Tsunade, lighten up, would you? I'll be working on my book." Kakashi and I entered our room, locking the door behind us and throwing our bags to the side. "I've never shared a hotel bed with anybody before," I said, smiling as Kakashi put his hands on my waist, "Me neither." I took off my jonin jacket and Konoha headband, placing them onto the table, "I'm so happy you're my first." He grinned at me as he already laid on the bed, shirtless and mask-less. "You're fast," I giggled. He mimicked a pout, "I thought you loved seeing me like this! Okay, I'll just put my shirt back on..." He started to get up but I quickly pinned him back down onto the bed, "No! Don't put it back on!" I said a bit too enthusiastically. I didn't really care, though. He chuckled and I ran my hands up and down his torso. His hands rested on my hips and he moved me in a grinding manner so I could feel his hardened member.
