I gasped as my eyes shot open. To say that it was chaotic would be an understatement. Everything was in ruins, burning, people were screaming, the moon was red. There was a huge tree with hundreds of ninja stuck in it's branches. They were dead. I panicked as I looked for Kakashi, Naruto and Sakura. They were nowhere to be seen. I stood up, holding my half-open stomach, wondering how I haven't bled out yet. Healing myself, I staggered away from the enormous tree. And then I saw it.

Sasuke's Susanoo. I squinted and saw that the previous Team 7 was all inside of it, including Kakashi. I sighed with relief, knowing that they were all okay. I, however, was not. "Katsumi-sensei!" Ten-ten had run up to me, "Are you okay? Do you need help?" I winced as I walked, but I shook my head, "Thanks, Ten-ten, but I'm okay. I'll just heal myself up and I'll be back in action." She nodded and ran to somebody else who was behind me. I didn't recognize who it was. I took my hand off of my stomach, happy with my healing work. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw the tree starting to move. It wove some sort of strands around ninja. I panicked. I had nowhere to run. I knew this was it. The Infinite Tsukuyomi. I looked up to the Susanoo and saw that Kakashi was one his hands and knees, facing me. I knew that he was screaming to me, but he was too far away for me to hear it. "I love you,"  I whispered as I felt the tree's strands embrace me, sending me into darkness.

I was standing in my kitchen, cooking dinner. A pair of arms slithered around my waist, "Hello, beautiful." Kakashi said as he kissed my neck. I smiled and moved my head so I could kiss his lips. "Get a room, would you?" I heard a voice and Kakashi laughed, "Obito, this is our house, after all." I spun around. Obito?! He stood there, leaning against the doorframe, in jonin attire. I looked down at everything. The bandages on my arm were gone, along with all of my scars. Each and every one of them was gone. "Obito, we invited you for dinner, just be polite," Kakashi laughed. I was so confused. Mirai ran at me, "Mommy! I found a cool bug, look!" She showed me a red-backed huge bug. Kakashi kneeled to her, "Why don't you go prank uncle Obito with that?" She giggled and ran off, an evil plan in mind.

"Kashi? What's happening?" I asked him quietly. He cupped my face and lowered his mask, kissing me passionately. I melted at his touch, but I couldn't shake the feeling that something wasn't right. "Nothing, Katsi. It's our perfect world." I nodded and started to set the table. I was confused, but I didn't make much of it.

"Thank you, mommy," My daughter said before eating her meal. I smiled and nodded as I heard screaming. "Don't worry, I'll get him," Kakashi said, kissing my forehead. What? Get who? I stood up quickly and followed Kakashi. "Katsumi? Are you okay?" Obito said, but I ignored him. I walked into the room Kakashi was in and stared at the picture in front of me. Kakashi was holding a small, screaming child in his arms and rocking him softly. "Shh, Naoki, don't cry, everything is okay. Oh, look, mommy's here." He said softly, smiling at me. I walked towards them slowly, staring at the child. His silver hair and steely eyes, he looked exactly like Kakashi. Naoki looked up at me, his tears stopping. I looked at him with wide, glassy eyes. "Ma.. ma..." He gurgled and Kakashi gasped. "Katsi! It's his first word!" He looked at me happily and I continued to stare at the small, fragile creature in his arms. Kakashi put him back into his crib and took my hand, kissing it softly. "Thank you for our family."

"KATSUMI-SENSEI! KAKASHI-SENSEI! I COULD SMELL RAMEN FROM MY HOUSE!" I heard Naruto's voice. Kakashi and I entered the kitchen, to see Naruto sitting next to Obito, grinning sheepishly. "I'm not giving you my ramen," Obito said, "I love it too much." Naruto pouted and turned to me, "Katsumi-sensei! Can I please have some of your amazing ramen? Please?" He stretched out the last word and I went to fill a bowl for him. Setting it in front of him, he grinned, "Thank you, Katsumi-sensei! Kakashi-sensei, you're so lucky you have Katsumi-sensei!" I blushed and Kakashi answered, "I know." Naruto devoured his ramen.

A lot of random images ran through my mind as I stood still. From warzones, to the Hokage's back, to sleeping with Kakashi, to the library, to an unknown river. It felt so surreal. My life seemed perfect, and yet something was missing. I led my days raising my children, going on successful missions and returning home to Kakashi.

"Katsumi! It's so nice to see you," An older man entered my house. Kakashi rushed up to him, "Welcome, Yoshiki-sama, it's so good to finally see you again!" The man waved him away, "Oh, Kakashi, would you drop the 'sama'? We're family!" He clipped his arm and proceeded towards me, embracing me. "How my little girl?" I froze. "Fa-Father?" I choked out. He laughed, "Do I look like somebody else? Oh, Katsumi, you crack me up. Now snap out of it! I want to see my grandchildren!" My daughter and my son, already a few years older, came running into the room, "Grandpa Yoshiki!" He laughed as they hugged his legs, "Oh, my grandchildren, I'm sorry I haven't visited in a while, I've been a bit busy." I was still shook, "Father... What are you doing here?" He frowned at me. "Katsumi, sweetheart, are you not happy to see your father?" I quickly shook my head, "No, no, it's not like that, I'm just... Surprised." He chuckled and hugged me, "I know it's been a while, but I promised I'd come back, didn't I?"

I gasped.

I was outside, the sun shining in my eyes. Where was I? I stood myself up on my elbows, looking around. Thousands of nin surrounded me, and they seemed as confused as I was. What had happened? I stood up slowly. And then I remembered. All of that must have been the Tsukuyomi. I followed the nin, who were heading towards... Something. "Katsi! KATSI!" I heard that painfully familiar voice. I ran to it, weaving between the crowd, jumping into his arms. "Kashi..." I whispered. He hugged me, tightly, tighter than ever before. I pulled away slightly and looked at him, stroking his cheek. I was so happy to see him, but... "Kashi! Your eyes!" Both of his eyes were of his steely grey color. His Sharingan wasn't there. He chuckled, "It's a very long story."

We walked amongst the crowd and he told me everything. About Obito, how he fought him, how Madara stole his Sharingan, how he forced black Zetsu onto Obito, controlling him and making him use Rinne Tensei, restoring Madara's life, how Madara turned into the legendary Kaguya, how Naruto and Sasuke teamed up to defeat her, how Obito had died to save Kakashi (again), how Obito temporarily gave him both of his eyes, allowing him to save Sakura, Naruto and Sasuke with a Susanoo, how they reversed the Infinite Tsukuyomi and saved the world.

"Naruto and Sasuke then fought each other. Each of them lost an arm attacking each other at the same time. I watched them lay there as Sakura ran over to them, healing them. For a moment, it was Team 7 again. I... I love them like they're my own children. They've come so far, I'm so proud of them." I smiled as I saw tears of happiness form in his eyes. "I'm glad all of this is over." I told him about what I experienced in the Infinite Tsukuyomi. He smiled as I finished, "You know, we can always make that son you saw." He kissed my temple.

"What a crazy night."
